Morbido In Roma

Simple but pleasant place. The staff is kind and friendly. The meat dishes are very good. The price is fair. I'll be back :)

This will be my 50th time eating at Morbido, but the first time I've been dissatisfied. Let's take it slowly: today I had a "Beef Salad," a large salad made of sliced ​​sirloin steak, confit cherry tomatoes, shaved Grana Padano, pistachio pesto, iceberg lettuce, mixed greens, and yakitori sauce. Perhaps a little too many ingredients, and perhaps not perfectly balanced, but we're talking about personal taste here, so everyone is entitled to their own opinion. What objectively didn't go well was the sirloin steak, which I found to be not very pleasant. You know when you try something and the flavor doesn't completely convince you? That's exactly what I felt, so I left it almost entirely uneaten, happily eating everything else. It's nothing dramatic, of course; it can happen in any restaurant in the world that an ingredient or a one-off dish isn't quite right. The important thing is that the quality standards are maintained over time, so as a loyal customer, I will return for the ultimate test. The staff is always kind and friendly. Update July 8, 2025: Back for the "stress test." This time I had the "Smoked Bun," a Piedmontese beef burger smoked over almond wood, a Bismarck egg, smoked bacon, vintage cheddar, BBQ sauce, cherry tomatoes, and iceberg lettuce. This is a burger I wholeheartedly recommend if you find yourself craving meat immersed in a kaleidoscope of well-balanced flavors at lunchtime. I washed it all down with a light beer with a bitter aftertaste. Fortunately, I must say that the universe has returned to its rightful place; the burger was delicious, and I enjoyed it with great pleasure. So I believe the slip-up last time was an isolated incident. Many thanks to Alina for her professionalism and cheerful empathy. Well done!

Minimalist decor, professional staff, and fast-food-style tableware. Decent selection of beers. Good and extensive menu, from appetizers (including swordfish) to meats (well-aged and well-cooked) to burgers. Insufficient soundproofing makes it difficult to carry on a conversation. A young place for young people. Excellent value.

Perhaps one of the few places where they get the hamburger cooking right. Bun, meat, potatoes, salad, all very good! Even the cuts are excellent. We really liked the pulled pork appetizer. The staff is always very kind, professional and efficient! Thanks and good work!!

We had dinner outside, everything was excellent but, as in every restaurant under a building, the tenant upstairs started to complain (on one hand I understand him) and we finished dinner a bit in awe.

There were 4 of us and we ate very well. I recommend the carbonara bombette.

Highly recommended place, first of all for the food, the meat is excellent, especially the tartare, delicious! (Also the savory cheesecake, super!) 😍 Don't underestimate the desserts either, we had the Morbido Rocher and the Brownie and they were both really excellent! It's rare to find such good and refined desserts in restaurants 🥰 Particularly appreciated the professionalism and kindness of the staff, all very attentive to the needs of customers, friendly and always smiling ☺️ I really appreciated the gesture of a very nice waiter who gave a lollipop to my 3 year old child (who was very happy 🥰). Another attention that is not at all obvious, which I really appreciated, they called us by phone to let us know that we had forgotten the bottle cap and a badge at the table. It's not the first time we come to this restaurant, and we will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Locale moderno che dispone di un ampio spazio esterno chiuso e riscaldato. Il personale di servizio è stato cortese e disponibile. C'è stato un malinteso ma alla fine si sono scusati e questo è stato molto apprezzato. Ottimi i panini mentre non le patatine fritte e gli anelli di cipolla fritti non mi hanno entusiasmato. Buona selezione di birre artigianali alla spina. Molto buono il rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo.
