For work, I had lunch in this restaurant on a Friday in December and I was thrilled. Everything obviously revolves around cod and it couldn't be otherwise. Nice place, clean, friendly, smart staff... no frills. The cod literally melted in your mouth... I don't think I've ever eaten a better one and I'm from Vicenza. Even the appetizer (a dish with 4 tastings) was exquisite, the plating was also taken care of. The owner is very nice and friendly. Unfortunately I didn't pay so I can't evaluate this aspect but I didn't have the impression of an expensive place. The only flaw: perhaps because we were sitting near the kitchen but I had to put everything to wash... the smell of food in the clothes was very present even in the evening. This does not mean that it deserves all 5 stars I'll be back

I went there on the advice of an acquaintance who lives in the area, a good restaurant where you can eat good cod as per tradition. Excellent service and beautiful environment, the only small flaw is that it's a bit confusing and it's a bit difficult to speak, otherwise everything is ok, including the price. I recommend booking. We'll be back, well done!

Vicenza-style cod menu simply perfect. Spectacular. I will be back soon with friends to introduce them to this beautiful place.

Membro della Venerabile Confreternita del Baccalà alla vicentina. Bollino blu di garanzia della qualità del prodotto e della capacità del titolare. Altra garanzia sulla qualità è data dal baccalà che arriva dalle isole Lofoten ... il paradiso del baccalà... Con questa premessa è facile capire perché ci tornerò. Non dimentico la cortesia del titolare (e grazie alla nonna per la ricetta del baccalà) è del personale di sala. Infine, 100 anni dalla fondazione sono passati. Che si mangi bene è indubbio e che il passaggio generazionale abbia mantenuto la promessa originaria è altrettanto vero.

The service really disappointed me: We arrived at 12:00 without a reservation, they gave us a table.......... After consuming the appetizer and first courses we were waiting for the dessert to arrive, but instead the waitress arrives and tells us Since you haven't booked, don't waste your time chatting and leave the table free for us because we have to add it to others who are arriving and have booked. I was speechless, I replied, look, we're waiting for dessert, but no excuses, professionalism below zero. We got up and had coffee at the counter. Oh I forgot the receipt is optional....

Siamo stati a pranzo in questo ristorante semplice ma al tempo stesso eccezionale. Piatti curati, servizio veloce e personale gentile. Il baccalà è squisito! Assolutamente da provare
