Excellent Sicilian food, complemented by the kindness of the staff. A corner of Sicily in Milan where you can feel at home. Highly recommended.

The food was tasty, but not that plentiful. The dishes are designed to be ordered as a starter, first course, main course, etc. We thought it was a bit pricey for that.

Lovely place, I highly recommend trying "LE SPECIALITÀ DI NONNA MARIETTA" and "Cannolo scomposto Montesoprano"

Dinner with friends on a sultry evening in Milan We found a friendly environment with kind and prepared staff, excellent food, excellent quality meat and real Sicilian dishes ... to try and recommend ... excellent !!!

We discovered Montesoprano in via Orti in Milan and we were thrilled! The cuisine absolutely deserves 5 stars: tasty dishes, well presented and prepared with the freshest raw materials. We started with some crostoni with melted caciocavallo, simply spectacular, and amazing arancini, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, really tasty. For main courses we tried the pistachio scottona rolls, very tender and full of flavor, and incredible horse meatballs, tasty and cooked to perfection. To finish on a sweet note, a fantastic Sicilian cannolo: the crumbly pastry and the fresh and abundant ricotta filling, you could taste all the quality. The place is very well-kept and welcoming, pleasant atmosphere and well-thought-out details. The only small flaw, the service a bit chaotic at times, but still friendly and helpful. Thanks to the 50% The Fork discount, the bill was more than competitive. An excellent experience from all points of view... we will definitely be back! 🍷✨

I have to compliment this restaurant! Caponata was delicious and tartare di scottona was great! Pasta alla norma was a little light compared to the real Norma but it was delicious! Well done!

We arrived 30 minutes before closing, with a reservation. We were told that they would be closing soon so we had to be fast. We ordered fast, and got the food fast. The food was very good, and the staff were very friendly. We got a discount because we only got to sit there for 30 minutes, and the owner didn't even mention the discount. We only saw it after we paid. Even before the discount it was very affordable.

We went for lunch and I have to say that everything was really good For 2 of us we spent 40 euros (it would have been 80 without theFork discount) For 1 appetizer, 2 main courses, 1 side dish, 1 dessert and 1 coffee I think it's fair. We will definitely be back!

Pretty good, come on. Nothing special. There were 2 of us, we had 2 tartares (one Trapanese and one scottona), a first course with ragù and cream cheese and a second course (scottona sausage in white wine). We had asked for half a liter of white wine, but 2 glasses arrived (but ok no problem), then 1 sparkling water and 2 coffees. The bill with The Fork was €50, but honestly at full price, €100 would not have been worth it. (Strictly personal opinion). The cuisine is totally Sicilian, but in my humble opinion, it lacked... how can I say... authenticity. I repeat, with the discount it is absolutely convenient, but in fact I cannot say that I ate for €100 in terms of quality. Thanks anyway for the discount, because 90% of the time we would not have chosen this restaurant (where you also have to park outside the restricted traffic area and walk a long way and practically everything is paid in that area). Maybe the area penalizes them and not a little if you come by car, otherwise luckily... 600m away there is the yellow metro stop of Porta Romana.
