Beautiful location, good high quality food, I enjoyed it very much

Everything is fine..... but some wall fans wouldn't be bad, at least the air would move..... in the heat these days you're dying.....

I discovered this restaurant because we celebrated a graduation there. The dishes are a delight, I have tasted more meat-based things, one better than the other. The meat is very tender!!! The staff very kind and empathetic. We were with my 4 year old and they immediately asked if we wanted to order first for him so that he wouldn't be annoyed, which, not obvious, but very welcome! I highly recommend it because, apart from this kindness, the food is really good!!!!

Good food, very good! Service I gave 2 stars (just for encouragement and because my mother gave me a good education!) Small and welcoming environment 3 of us went to dinner. A friend asked for a glass of white wine and was told that they only had prosecco (😱in a Sicilian restaurant?!) After 10 minutes of waiting, someone who is a little more experienced arrives (perhaps the only one among all those serving the tables) with a tablet for orders. With a little more waiting, the drinking finally arrives and then the eating... I didn't get a side dish, I was urged and I had to order something else when my friends had already finished eating. (This was pointed out to a waiter, but I don't think he even understood the problem). We ask what bitters are there and... the waiter returned only after calling him at least 3 times, in the end the "expert" arrived. While waiting for the "grappino" I go out to smoke a cigarette and.... returning to the room I miss the chair. I take it as a carnival or Halloween joke 😁. At the time of payment the accounts, obviously, don't add up! Inserted the side dish that didn't arrive and double side dish (the one ordered as a fallback) I fear that the waiters didn't have any kind of training, the only thing they could have done is serve tables and clear the table. I don't think I'll go back, when you pay, and not a little, I ask for a service and organization that's a little better than the one I found. (I should point out that in the past I also worked as a waitress. They gave me a course and related coaching for 7 days and... if I did or said something wrong I was scolded harshly with a day spent clearing tables, cleaning toilets and vacuuming when closing, no orders for 2 days...) .

Very good food and friendly staff

Even though we arrived at 2.40pm due to a medical visit, the Montesoprano restaurant welcomed us with great kindness even though the kitchen was already closed. They immediately proceeded to offer us a hot meal, demonstrating exceptional courtesy and helpfulness. The dining room staff, especially the waitresses, were super friendly and attentive. We ordered grandma's meatballs, which turned out to be delicious, accompanied by a generous portion of baked potatoes and bread. The baked potatoes, especially with the melted cheese on top, were delicious. The caponata was also highly appreciated for its authentic flavour. We ended the meal with a large cannoli. As Sicilians, we were amazed by the quality of the ricotta and the pastry, both extraordinarily good and difficult to find elsewhere. Our experience at the Montesoprano restaurant was excellent and we will definitely be back!

I'm Scottish and my partner is Sicilian. A relative who lived in Milan recommended this place. The food was amazing - the portions are huge and the food is so fresh! The staff are really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to tourists and locals!
