Really amazing place, new innovative place, the food is really unusual and good we liked everything especially the fun egg game, the style of the place is simple and clean, young but the best part besides the food was the super friendly staff, especially the guy who served us was really nice and thoughtful and he also helped me call a taxi at the end of dinner, what can I say everything right, good guys! 💯

Extensive menu and very tasty options, I had vegetarian carbonara with zucchini and a delicious egg and Cacio starter. Midweek and quiet when we went as it was early evening. Recommend if you're in Trastevere.

Informal but very well-kept environment in every aspect, a safe haven especially when compared to the majority of the neighborhood's offerings, chaotic and touristy. The menu allows you to choose between valid and fun chef proposals and the solidity of dishes executed properly with a gourmand touch, beautiful carbonara menu, ennobled in execution and presentation. My children happily return and that means a lot. Slim and intelligent wine list. Attentive and prepared service, it is not cheap, but it is 100% worth what you pay.

There were two of us and we had the cacio e ovo and the strapazzi as appetizers. As an Abruzzese I can tell you that the cacio e ovo was very good and the strapazzi incredible. The pasta Alla carbonara was divine both the classic one and the one from the original recipe from 1954. The creme brulee was the same. Absolutely recommended

The "Carbonara 1954" at Eggs is an absolute highlight – creamy, spicy, and perfectly seasoned. We went there twice in 2022 and 2025 – and were thrilled every time. The Cacio e Pepe is also completely convincing.
Small but excellent wine list, charming team, sustainable ingredients, and fair prices. Stylish, relaxed, simply really good. 😊
My conclusion: Eggs is a must-eat in Rome – especially for carbonara fans! 👌🏻🥇🇮🇹

Cibo molto particolare nel senso che ci sono piatti obiettivamente unici e che richiedono lavorazioni tecniche difficilmente replicabili
Ma un piatto di carbonara tradizionale per me è nel piatto dove posso rimestare e non in un barattolo dove non si può manovrare

Avevo sentito parlare di questo posto ed ero molto curioso di assaggiare le rivisitazioni della carbonara: l’esperienza ha superato le aspettative. Sono riusciti a toccare l’intoccabile, ovvero la ricetta della carbonara, senza stravolgere ma arricchendo. La carbonara con i porcini che ho mangiato era semplicemente fantastica. Ottimo anche l’antipasto dei tris di carbonara da passeggio! Qualcuno al mio tavolo ha preso anche il maritozzo che ha trovato eccellente. Opzioni, senza glutine, accoglienza cordiale e conto correttissimo. Per questo locale è il massimo!
