Mon petit bistrot In Brescia

While walking in the center we stopped in Piazzetta Vescovado for a pleasant break. In this place there is no possibility of an aperitif at lunchtime, so we have shared some quick proposals suitable for lunch. The guys were very kind and quick with their service, in particular they made us sit at a table for three to have more space even though there were two of us, they immediately noticed that a piece of cutlery had fallen and without even having to ask they brought a replacement. Price with water and glass around 33 euros, obviously compared to the fact of being in the center, a little high, but given the position and the location it's okay.

Nice little place located in the square with the possibility of eating outside while enjoying the beautiful days outdoors. The menu is not extensive and particular while the quality of the dishes is not the best but it is certainly counterbalanced by the excellent courtesy and attention of the waiters. It's a shame that there isn't a classic aperitif formula that would be very welcome after taking a walk through the streets of the centre.

The original and revisited cocktails (special mention for Iki gai 🍸). The appetizers are also good. Thank you kind lady for your service.

Una scoperta. Locale davvero bello e in un ambiente inusuale. La proposta per il pranzo si limita ad alcuni piatti, ma davvero buoni. Da provare il polpo alla gallega e la loro versione di sushi. Buona selezione di vini. Ci torneremo certamente a cena!

Uno dei miei posti preferiti da sempre. Il Mon Petit è un piccolo ristorante-gioiello nel cuore di Brescia. La location non è grandissima, ma è tranquilla, pulita e giovanile. Il menú propone diversi piatti a base sia di carne sia di pesce caratterizzati dagli abbinamenti ricercati e peculiari. Deliziosi. Le materie prime sono di ottima qualità, e si sente. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è medio-alto. A malincuore aggiungo che, rispetto a qualche anno fa, hanno ridotto le porzioni di parecchio, il che lascia un po’ a desiderare visto il prezzo più alto. Dipende molto dalle abitudini soggettive del cliente, ma, di base, ci si aspetterebbe, con 15€ di pietanza, un piatto medio/abbondante - cosa che lo strato di forse 1cm di riso basmati non ha propriamente dimostrato. Detto ciò, consiglio comunque il Mon Petit Bistrot, tappa “storica” e immancabile in quel di bs.

Un gioiellino a Brescia: locale accogliente e Marco, il proprietario, è stato super attento, gentile e competente. Pranzo ottimo e la selezione di vini è davvero interessante e insolita. Ci torneremo senz’altro!
