Modica Beach Resort Restaurant- Le Spiagge In Modica

We stayed at the Modica Beach Resort during the off-season. Since we travel a lot, we read some reviews this time, which are generally quite positive. We don't know what it's like in the high season, so we obviously can't speak for that period. First, the location: The hotel is truly in an absolutely wonderful location, right on the beach. It truly deserves 5 stars. The fact that the waves were quite high the first few days and it was almost impossible to get into the water isn't anyone's fault. The last few days, the sea was absolutely calm and it couldn't have been better. The rooms: We had a deluxe room facing the garden. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. The garden was an absolute joke and the hedge was so high that you couldn't see the open space behind it. There would have been room for a larger garden with a low hedge without any problems. I would give it 3 points for cleanliness. It was more of a quick fix than clean. The TV didn't have any German channels, and the smart TV didn't work at all. No stable WiFi connection. Now, the food. If you're looking for good Italian cuisine, you've come to the wrong place. The room is really coldly lit and extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast is pretty monotonous. Canned and unpeeled fruit. There's no variety of cold cuts. Endless sweets...but those with a sweet tooth will probably still find something to their liking. The coffee shouldn't be called coffee; it's more like dishwater than coffee. You can buy "real" coffee on site if you like. The dinner is an absolute disaster...we were wondering if the chef was on vacation and that's why we've read some positive reviews about the food. Everything is more or less tasteless and completely uninspiring. A real shame, since Italy is actually one of the countries with good cuisine. All in all, we can say the location is great, the food is a flop.

A positive experience, the staff were available to make you feel at ease. Even though it was the end of the season, I took a dip in the crystal-clear water. My half-board experience, where the breakfast and dinner buffets offered a wide selection to satisfy even the most discerning palates, was truly a rejuvenating experience for both body and mind.

Enchanting location. Very beautiful and welcoming resort. Strengths: Well-maintained restaurant, very good food and impeccably served. Kudos to the chef and maitre d'. The entertainment was discreet and engaging, everyone was very good, with Giulio, the entertainment director, always on top of the situation. The receptionists were very good, always kind and helpful. Beautiful, well-organized excursions with very knowledgeable guides.

A beautiful hotel, located directly on the beach, with its own private beach. It includes loungers and umbrellas that you can use throughout your stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, leaving nothing to be desired. A quick tip: it would be good to request a room facing the sea. We would love to come back.

Perfect! Three days of pure relaxation. Beautiful room, very kind staff, excellent breakfast. We will definitely be back!!

New and well managed resort. The room is very bright and spacious. The courtesy of the staff and the cleanliness of the places are at the TOP. The only small shortcoming is the little variety of sweet breakfast.

The hotel is located on a splendid beach, the external areas and the rooms are beautiful but they are greatly compromised by the lateral view of the sea and the nearby houses. Very courteous staff. We did not use the SPA which in any case had to be paid for and had to be booked because it was very small and the restaurant which we were told was self-service with a cost of 35 euros per person. The breakfast was quite rich but with most of the products packaged and not local. Cafeteria and drinks definitely need improvement. Not offering juices for breakfast or a citrus juice in Sicily is quite unacceptable.

A perfect, thoughtful and attentive welcome. An excellent, clean hotel with attention to detail, located in a fantastic location just a stone's throw from a wonderful beach. PS 2 more stars for the reception staff would only be deserved but 5 is the maximum :-)

The resort has a beautiful swimming pool, also 2 steps away from the sea with an equipped beach. The spacious rooms. The bar is excellent for a cocktail in the evening and the buffet restaurant (excellent). The friendly staff both at reception and in the restaurant.

Remarkable location, welcoming rooms, quality service
