Miyama is one of those addresses that lovers of Japanese cuisine in Milan know well: an elegant yet welcoming restaurant, where Japanese tradition meets a constant pursuit of quality ingredients. The atmosphere is refined and relaxed, perfect for both a quiet dinner and a business lunch, while the service is one of its true strengths: attentive, friendly, and capable of making you feel immediately at ease. The kitchen employs solid technique, and you can sense great attention to the selection of fish and ingredients, always fresh and crafted with precision. The result is a menu that goes beyond classic sushi and showcases refined yet balanced dishes, where flavor and presentation interact in perfect harmony. Not to be missed: Raw Gillardeau oyster and panko-fried persimmon with okonomi sauce; Gyuniku gyoza with truffle; Smoked salmon tataki; Kohako Maki (breaded shrimp and avocado, topped with scallop and raw shrimp, black garlic, truffle, green jalapeño, and tobiko roe).

A very nice setting, with great service and wonderful sushi, all fresh and of excellent quality.

I'm giving it 5 stars, but there are a few small details that need fixing, including the coffee (it's not up to par with the rest of the place), the chocolate sphere (the chocolate should break the sphere and not slide off the side—a flaw created during the manufacturing process), the seaweed (good, plentiful, but not crunchy), the waiters are knowledgeable but a bit distracted (voices a little too loud, menu misleading), and the dim lighting is nice but perhaps a bit too limited, especially in the parking lot and especially on rainy evenings. Regarding the parking lot, since it's so small, I might suggest installing a light outside to let you know if it's available. Otherwise, the place is clean and welcoming, as is the staff. The dishes are tasty with refined ingredients, but the portions are perhaps a bit too small. I highly recommend making a reservation, which you can also do from the Google Maps listing.
