A particularly lovely place with a refined atmosphere. The staff were very kind, polite, and discreet. The food was excellent, and there's also a vegetarian option...the desserts are the icing on the cake! Super! Excellent experience; highly recommended.

Fantastic restaurant with delicious dishes based on local ingredients. In good weather, you can sit outside on the lovely terrace, but when the weather isn't so good, the interior is also charming and authentic.

A wonderful discovery. We will definitely return, for the cuisine, its flavors and presentation, for the aesthetic and authentic setting, the excellent choice of music and the appropriate volume, and of course for the friendly and very professional staff.

We discovered this gem by chance, and it was a wonderful surprise. A well-kept environment, very kind staff, and excellent food quality. Fresh and local products. A tasty menu with choices for vegans too, I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back

I'm serious: it's my absolute favorite restaurant! I live in Milan but my family has had a house on Lake Idro for many years, every time I bring friends I always make an impeccable impression. Quiet place, very very nice outside but sheltered, characteristic inside, very good and not banal dishes (risotto with perch is amazing!!). The desserts are on another level, once there were 6 of us and I convinced them to take all the desserts on the menu to try them (8 if I'm not mistaken), they still thank me now. The orange cake is delicious. The girl I see every year is very kind and very nice. The only small flaw: unfortunately they don't add new things every year, but as long as the quality remains this way it's fine like this.

19/07/2025: Everythimg was good: relaxed yet stylish atmosphere, good music (not too loud), nice people, cool renewed osteria. And the food? Excellent, some classic dishes with super nice presentations, nice cooking/crafts, and wonderful tastes. Very nice wine list too. Skip the touristy water-front places, and get something entirely different here, at better prices.
19/07/2025: Great restaurant slightly further back from the promenade but with a charismatic head chef who is hands on and engaging with his diners. The food is excellent with a smart and relaxed feel to the restaurant. When the place gets busy, it feels like the staff get a little flustered so hopefully in peak season there is more support. Otherwise I can’t fault their help and insight to local wine and food recommendations.

30/06/2025: Last night my family and I passed through Desenzano and having to find a place for dinner, suitable for me and my daughter who are celiacs, we came here to Kappeti, a place that my daughter had already tried a year ago with friends. Well, the choice was really good and beyond expectations! The place is very beautiful, well-kept and welcoming, it immediately amazed me as soon as I crossed the threshold of the courtyard that hosts it. The owner and the boys and girls of the service were very kind. The gluten-free pizzas that we consumed, the Diavola for my daughter and a Frivola for me, were very good, not to mention the excellent gluten-free Weiss beer that they recommended to us. My wife also confirmed the goodness of the normal Margherita. We didn't try anything else last night but we will definitely go back because the rest of the gluten-free menu (food and desserts) was also interesting. I also saw that they have a separate kitchen for us celiacs and this is neither obvious nor common. Well done! To all celiacs: go there!
