Ten days traveling around Italy, and the pasta I liked the most was the one from this place, which is also reasonably priced and right in the cathedral square.

We found it by chance and stopped for dinner, located opposite Pavia Cathedral. Martina, one of the staff, was very courteous and professional.

Nice place with good staff in a small square next to a cathedral, very nice environment, the food was absolutely outstanding, the menu can be found by scanning a QR code on the table and is in different languages, payment can also be made via e.g. Google Pay which was neat and easy!

Under the arcades of the Cathedral of Pavia, excellent traditional pasta dishes but with that pinch of imagination that makes the dishes even tastier. Interesting is the possibility of being able to compose dishes to your liking, choosing between various types of pasta and condiments. Special mention for the staff: kind, prepared and attentive. We felt really pampered. Absolutely worth trying.

18/08/2025: We stopped for lunch at Osteria Beccalzù by chance, and it was a pleasant surprise! A family-friendly atmosphere and homemade cuisine, with excellent dishes and a set menu (first course, second course, side dish, water, and 1/4 cup of wine for €12). Recommended if you're in the area!
