Miramare In Ortona

The host, Fabio, offers our tour guests an amazing menu of fresh seafood or lamb, or vegetarian options if desired. Outside the window is a beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea. This is our go-to group lunch spot for our visits to Ortona on our WWII battlefield tours.

A dinner that was nothing short of spectacular! An incredible seafood dinner. We found this place among the gluten-free options in the area, and we never expected such attention and organization, even down to the smallest details. The staff was attentive and friendly from the start. We had two medium-large dogs with us, and they were welcomed into the establishment. The waiter explained the gluten-free options, including homemade pasta, fried fish, and artisanal desserts. A dream for a celiac on vacation. The taste experience exceeded our expectations. A place we absolutely recommend and will return to soon.

Excellent fried seafood and mixed grill. Excellent value for money. Plus, they're very friendly, which doesn't hurt.

A charming and familiar place. At Miramare, you feel like you're part of the family. Everything is perfect, from the service to the food. I had a fantastic tartare, exceptional raw ham, and the amazing gratin with a special crunch, mussels with a hint of licorice that were truly pleasing to the palate, and fantastic clams and shellfish. In the dining room, Luca was also able to advise us perfectly on the wines to pair with the dishes. The ladies in the dining room were always kind and charming. In the kitchen, Fabio and the wonderful Delia are masters of fish, managing to create a symphony of flavors while maintaining each element's distinct flavor. The fish seems to have jumped straight from the sea below onto your plate. The best thing is that when you return home, you remember a wonderful evening and the taste of fresh fish etched in your memory. Highly recommended. Basically... you're eating seafood! Everything is top-notch, from the freshness of the fish, to the balanced flavors, to the presentation of the dishes, and the perfect service!

Had lunch today, everything was excellent. Paglia e fieno tagliatelle with unforgettable scorpion fish (the portion was perhaps a little small, perhaps I was really hungry). WE WILL RETURN

Luckily, I managed to book a table at this restaurant. The welcome was excellent, and what a dinner! The fish was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. The appetizers, first courses, and second courses were excellent. The wine selection was excellent. The lemon sorbet with San Pasquale was delicious. The tasting of the bitters was very enjoyable. Excellent value.
