Wat een met zorg bereide gerechten. Mijn man nam naast een pasta ook de borsjt. Die was heerlijk, goed gevuld met groenten en vlees. Mijn dochter en ik deelden een paigiana en hadden daarna ook een heerlijke pasta. De porties zijn groot. Mijn lasagne was echt heerlijk.

I, who come from Milan, am used to bland flavors, small portions, glasses of wine that you can barely wet your beak. Here, we enjoyed typical Sicilian dishes with a superb flavour, where the quality raw materials were enhanced by the courtesy of the innkeeper. The combination of quality and kindness always leaves in the heart the perception that human beings can still be trusted. Thank you.

Delicious pizzas for a very fair price. The pistachio pizza is highly recommended if you want to try something different. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Un endroit très accueillant chaleureux où l'on passe de vrais moments de détente. Les pizzas sont délicieuses, les spaghettis savoureuses, les sauces sont merveilleusement cuisinées. Le dernier soir photo de "famille" entre les patrons, 2 touristes sud coréennes et nous ! Un très beau souvenir !

Trattoria Saltimbocca da Giancarlo

14/05/2025: Excellent experience to be repeated absolutely. I came across the Trattoria Saltimbocca recommended by friends. The first thing that struck me was the attention of the waiters and the owner (unfortunately not common in Catania); the fish was all very fresh and cooked to perfection and Mr. Giancarlo was always present in the room, attentive to each table and happy to give you directions on the menu. The last pleasant surprise was the bill, definitely lower than the average for the city. I recommend everyone to try it and I intend to return as soon as possible
09/05/2025: Very good restaurant, a bit far from the city center of Catania, seafood specialties! Very pleasant service! Little extra: their cheesecake is really delicious! 😋
