Having had breakfast: they don't provide table service (of which there are only four anyway). Staff not particularly courteous. Cannoli equivalent to others in the area. Coffee to forget

Nice and quiet for an evening, on the main artery of Syracuse. Cheap and tasty, with a large selection of coasters and snacks.

We didn't actually come for lunch, but rather a late afternoon snack, since we had only gelato for lunch and dinner starts at 8. I had had arancini in the market in Palermo and it was totally meh. I thought that I just don't like it. Then I had the pistachio arancino/a at Midolo and it was amazing. The next day they didn't have the pistachio, only the spinach, which was very good, but not the life-altering experience of the pistachio.

I ate two arancini. One with meat sauce and one pistachio and ricotta. They were hot, tasty, perfect. The place impressed me so much that I returned for breakfast. I took a puff pastry with the cream which was still warm. So good that as soon as I finished I went back in for something else. I got a puff pastry with ham and cheese which was still warm. They didn't do anything wrong, and they're nice too! For me it is a place to remember.

05/08/2024: L’esterno non ispira molto, ma le frasi con il logo “neri per la cultura”, la regola che “dopo il cannolo non si può ordinare nulla” (qualcuno non apprezzerà, noi sì☺️) e soprattutto la qualità di tutti i dolci e i salati, ne fanno un posto con grande personalità. Da consigliare assolutamente!

21/08/2024: Homemade food, service a little slow. We brought home the "barbecue" but we found out that it was made in a pan. Good but could be improved.
18/08/2024: We came for lunch with my partner, certain of eating what was available. Appetizer of potato pancakes, broccoli and vegetables and sautéed chicory. Good witches' pappardelle, really. Note of demerit grilled meat cooked in a pan. We will be back because the food is really genuine, there are some shortcomings on the rest
