I had the best cannoli in my LIFE here. Went back for seconds later that day, and even though there weren’t any cannoli on display, he filled one for me on the spot so it couldn’t be fresher. Would absolutely recommend!

Proof that genuine places are far from tourist-attracting activities. We specifically left Ortigia to come to this place. After having toured half of Sicily, we can say: one of the best arancini that my wife and I have ever eaten! We tried different flavors: pistachio and ricotta (top), cacio e pepe (excellent!), spinach and alla norma. We ate at the outdoor tables, something exquisite ❤️ courteous and helpful staff. I can't publish the photos because we couldn't resist long enough to take them 🤤

It was close to my accommodation, so I kept an eye on it, and whenever I passed by (especially in the morning), there were a lot of customers, so I visited out of curiosity. It seemed like a lot of customers had a light breakfast of bread, so I followed suit and ordered a pistachio croissant, and it was really delicious! The warm croissant, freshly baked in the morning, was covered in warm pistachio cream. Locals buy a lot of other breads and eat them in the store. The coffee is also good.

Large selection of sweets, good coffee. The only downside is that there is no water for espresso. I guess I haven't gotten used to the local sweets yet, because I wouldn't eat two at a time - too sweet
