Not bad, even if it's small, it's best to book (keep in mind that there is a similar one in Pavia in Piazza del Duomo). The only downside: on the wall in front of the bar counter there is a giant poster with the various menus... it's a shame it's dated and different flavours are no longer served.

Near the wooden bridge with a breathtaking view, miccone is a traditional Pavia bread served with local cured meats and cheeses. A must-try.

sono stata con mia figlia in questo ristorantino perchè visto in un video su Internet, curiosa di assaggiare il pane a pieghe... devo dire che sono rimasta soddisfattissima, sia per il servizio e la disponibilità della ragazza sia per la bontà del cibo il "Miccone" è speciale, veramente particolare, poi abbinato ai salumi del luogo e ad un bel calice di Bonarda.... una bomba!!! Spero di tornarci presto!! Peccato sia per me lontano!

BAR CAFFETTERIA IL MELOGRANO

07/08/2025: For a café, being near a blood test point is the best thing you can hope for, but when the place in question has a beautiful aesthetic and delicious food... well, returning, regardless of medical needs, becomes a must! The interior is vintage, just the way I like it, and perfectly complements a relaxing moment, whether in company or alone. For breakfast, the selection of pastries is truly extensive, each one better than the last. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive to their customers. I appreciated that, when we asked for cocoa and cinnamon for those delicious cappuccinos, they brought shakers directly to us, so we could serve ourselves as we pleased. Cafés like this aren't found everywhere, even though they're popping up like mushrooms in every city. Precisely for this reason, it's difficult for a place to become memorable amidst such an immense variety. Yet Il Melograno manages to do just that. I'll gladly return to enjoy more of my mornings in Pavia.

15/05/2025: We were here for my daughter's Communion. I can only recommend it: we had a good impression already when we tried it, confirmed on the day of the ceremony. Excellent food, with many of their products (a special note for the white asparagus), so much so that we also used them for the wedding favors (giardiniera and honey highly appreciated by all the guests) and indisputable quality/price ratio. The outdoor space is well-kept, in whose porch it is also possible to have lunch and good recovery of the internal one (large fireplace and wooden ceiling beams) with an open kitchen. The hostess Giuditta has always been very available to our requests and all those who served us were the same, especially with the children.
