Lovely restaurant right beside the castle, with a view of the port and a cooling breeze. The food is top quality and the people were really nice to deal with. The MiCasa appetiser is a set of 6 dishes that makes an excellent lunch or a starter to a blow-out meal. You probably don't need a reservation for lunch, but you definitely do for dinner. Recommended

It is not often that I would like to give more than 5 stars, but this is one time. Firstly the location is superb, we could see the sunset through the arch in the wall. Secondly the service was excellent. Thirdly and by no means least, the food was excellent. My wife and I shared the squad as a starter. The squid was cooked to perfection and great flavours with the sauce and potato. My wife had the tuna, was excellent. I gad the veal which was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The waiter was rude. It was not pleasant to be there. We didn't even order anything and left. The atmosphere is not very good.

“Micasa” is a restaurant located on the Monopoli seafront. The venue has seating both inside and outside. We started lunch with two appetizers: mini freselle from Puglia and a house appetizer, all divided for 5 people. Noteworthy in the appetizer were the almond prawn and the polenta rectangles with caramelized onion. All 4 first courses were composed with care and with top quality products, the fish always fresh. Courteous, polite and prepared service. The only sore point in my opinion was including coffee on the bill, it would be good practice, with a final bill for 4 people of €120, to offer it.

Romantic dinner at Charles V's castle! Impeccable and fast service! Very good tasting mixed starter! Gnocchi with clams, bottarga and turnip tops.....delicious! Highly recommended place!

Located on Piazzale Carlo V, this restaurant offers tables both outside and inside. The menu is available via QR code or on the website. I highly recommend the appetizer at Mi Casa, at €15 per person, consisting of six delicious dishes: tempura prawns, parmigiana-style aubergines, battered caciocavallo accompanied by honey, burrata with capocollo and crumbled taralli, and seafood salad. We then ordered the Adriatic mixed fry for €16, which turned out to be dry, tasty at the right point and plentiful. The “deconstructed” tuna sushi at €16 with Venere rice was perfectly cooked and overall delicious. The spaghettoni alla San Giovanni at €14 was al dente, with the tuna added only at the end to keep it tender, juicy and well seasoned. We accompanied these excellent dishes with a Galetto Rosato Extra Dry from the Colli della Murgia for €20. Even though the place was crowded at 9pm, we only waited 5 minutes to be served by young and helpful staff. Too bad I didn't try the cocktails; I would have gladly tasted a pisco sour. It will definitely be for next time.

Very good pasta and tiramisu in a jar, nice staff who speak English, a large portion of Aperol and delicious local wines, I recommend it

Fresh and quality products, highly recommended. Every time I return to Monopoli I stop by them and they are a certainty. The Micasa appetizer is super!
