⭐ From Pala to Tonda: Years of Excellence and Continuous Evolution I've been following Mezzo Metro since it opened, and I can say that, over the years, it's become almost a healthy addiction: if I don't eat it every week, I miss it! I've tried practically all of them, following their growth step by step. My journey began with the Pala Romana (their Margherita is a sure thing), then moved on to the Carbonara, which has long been my favorite. I also tried the Makyz: a wonderful innovation, excellent as an aperitif for those, like me, who are "foodies" and want to warm up their engines. But the final love affair was with the Tonda Romana: thin, crispy, and with an Amatriciana that can't be beat. Some useful details: Dough: The real strength. Super light, never too salty, and extremely digestible: a perfect mix of flours and leavening. The Venue: The atmosphere is very nice and well-kept, but it's important to keep in mind that the space is a bit small, with only a small dining room. Prices: The "Specials" are higher than average, but the research and quality of the ingredients are excellent and justify the expense. Owners: Antonio and Lucia are incredibly kind, they know my tastes and are always open to discussions with customers to improve further. In a competitive market like Milan's, they have carved out a niche for themselves with incredible innovation and flavor. A well-deserved five stars. I'm already looking forward to the next pizza and their upcoming new releases!

Hi everyone, let me start by saying that the food is excellent. I always order takeout because it's one of my favorites. If I have to make a constructive criticism, it's about the only staff in the dining room... you can't mix up takeout orders and ignore the rest of the customers! Just before writing this review, I witnessed a pathetic scene... the customer wanted a half-slice pizza, but alas, a round pizza arrived! The young, perhaps inexperienced, man says... that's it! That said, the pizza is fabulous and I always order it, but if I were to dine here, I'd say no!

I finally got to try this pizzeria I'd been eyeing for months, and I have to say it was definitely worth it. The pizza is excellent and out of the ordinary, with original and truly delicious options. I regret not going sooner, because it was a wonderful discovery. I'll definitely be back to try other pizzas; it's also perfect for a different aperitivo.

It's a tiny place, but the Roman pizza is truly excellent, and the sushi shapes are very original. We ordered a selection of maki and gyoza to try, all excellent, and then the Roman pizzas by the slice. Everything was truly delicious! I'd go back to try the AYCE pizza maki.

Lucia welcomed us and pampered us all evening. In addition to the impeccable service, the food was excellent!! Highly recommended.

The concept is captivating and spot-on, with high-quality ingredients and an original menu. Well done. We ate slowly and were attentively served. The place is small and a bit cramped, but that's okay—the pizza is excellent, and that's what matters. The place wasn't crowded, and we were served promptly. We'll definitely be back.
