Sicilian rotisserie where everything is cooked strictly following authentic local recipes. All strictly homemade, I think their arancino is a real Oscar winner! The focaccia and rustici are also excellent! The hospitality of Massimo and Giusy who kept us there with the explanation of the various recipes made us truly feel at home! Recommended for those who want to taste the real Sicily.

The choice of what to eat was embarrassing just from the appearance of the products and then moving on to the tasting... everything was simply super good and tasty!!! congratulations also for the availability and friendliness of the managers @

What about the Merlino rotisserie? The family environment and the goodness of the food leads us to return every year with great taste and satisfaction. I highly recommend it. Note the Sicilian arancini!!!!

07/12/2024: Vor 14 Jahren zum ersten Mal hier und jetzt wieder - im extrem touristischen und überteuerten Taormina eigentlich ein Geheimtipp: Vorzüglich zubereitetes Essen zu reellen Preisen (2 Personen mit Vorspeise, Wein und Dessert ca. 100 Euro), viele lokale Spezialitäten, sehr freundlicher, aufmerksamer und notfalls auch englischsprachiger Service, wenn das Touristenitalienisch nicht ausreicht... Viele, wenn nicht überwiegend einheimische Stammgäste - hoffentlich bleibt das so!
02/12/2024: We arrived at a time when everything was still closed. Very tasty frittura misto, large portion. My wife ordered the norm and it was equally delicious. Prices are slightly higher, but this is Taormina. Overall, it was worth it... we will gladly come back.

15/01/2025: TASTE, TRADITION AND EXCELLENCE!
17/10/2024: The tables outside were not set, but we asked if we could eat outside. She immediately started setting the table, which was very nice of her and we could enjoy our meal outside. The food itself is not exceptional, but overall delicious, and the pasta was perfectly cooked al dente.
