Four days in Rome, traveling with a child with celiac disease, and our experience at Mercato Hostaria was good, not the best, but good. Its location in Campo de' Fiori is excellent. We ate on the terrace, which was well-heated. The food was very good, but I must point out that the child's carbonara pizza was quite salty (in my opinion, guanciale is overrated, as it adds a lot of salt, especially when baked). The restaurant staff noticed the situation, seeing that the child couldn't eat it, and naturally brought him a delicious complimentary dessert. I appreciate their commitment to serving celiacs, and I highly recommend it. Thank you!

Came for a meal this evening. Staff couldn't do enough for us, very polite and swift service. Ordered the gluten free homemade lasagna Ragu beef which was amazing. Would definitely recommend to this restaurant to anyone. Especially if you are gluten free.

Alex provided excellent service throughout our visit. He was friendly, attentive, and professional, and made us feel truly welcome. His menu recommendations were perfect, and his positive attitude made the whole experience even better. We will definitely return thanks to his outstanding service.

02/01/2026: We were the only lucky ones to eat lunch on January 2nd. The owner was exceptional, we chatted with him, and he welcomed our baby with open arms. Home cooking, you feel right at home, everything was perfect!

05/12/2025: A word of advice: offer home delivery, like the competition, perhaps with a minimum spend of €10. Increase your advertising on social media and create a more attractive outside location to attract more customers. Fried foods, desserts, and pizza are delicious, authentic, and easy to digest. A quiet, clean place, run by a family-run Italian family with a heart for their business. Friendly staff and fast service. You can dine in or reserve tables and food by phone. There's a large parking lot. They also do express pasta dishes.
02/10/2025: Fabulous pizza. Everything was fabulous. Unique family hospitality from another era. Creativity in the kitchen. Ever better, much better in terms of products, creativity, and family harmony. UNIQUE!!!! Confirmed! P.S. Happy birthday, Grandma and Grandpa.
