I love this place, 100% products in Sila at km 0, all made in Calabria in this magical place. Every time I find myself in this dancing land, I am "obliged" to book a table to savor the true Calabrian flavors of Sila between mixed platters, first with mushrooms and then the grill with 'mpacchiuse potatoes on the side. In short, if you find yourself in Camigliatello Silano or in the surrounding area, my great advice is to stop here and rest assured that you will then return like me 😋.

We arrived at this place thanks to word of mouth from those who already knew it. From the outside it is an anonymous place in which an illuminated metal structure that recalls a Christmas tree stands out, and a large open space. You should know that if Santa Claus did not live in Lapland, he would certainly choose Camigliatello as his home, as the village has two Christmas shops. But returning to the market, as soon as you enter you will discover a large hall with rustic wooden furniture and long tables, so if the place is full you could be next to people you don't know. For me this is an advantage because the watchwords of the place are cheerfulness, hospitality and inclusion. On the sides of the hall you will find typical shops, with cheeses, sausages and fruit on one side and the kitchen on the other. But the strong point, gentlemen, is the cuisine. The portions are generous, the quality excellent and the prices reasonable. There is a swarm of kids working there, all happy. And if the music they play is tarantella, vinicio, batteto, birth of heavy clouds, I believe that in addition to Santa Claus, I will also ask for residency in this place.
