If you arrive in the morning and want some cooked food, only a few sandwiches are available, practically the kitchens are available starting at 12 noon.

Very good place, several meal options. I found the price very good compared to prices in the surrounding area, considering the same quality.

Good selection of wines, good quality pre-made pasta, but the price is high for what it offers: disposable cutlery and plates and terrible service.

This is Bologna's most famous indoor market. We ate lasagna and spaghetti at the place right at the entrance, it was amazing, we ate it again another day.

It's located not far from the center, a typical idea copied from Spain (markets have had these more or less elegant spaces for meeting and grabbing snacks for years). Let's return to Bologna: inside what used to be an old market, there's a series of small shops/businesses where you can quickly order some typical specialties (some have long lines and waits during rush hour), such as sandwiches, focaccia, or spianata with mortadella or various cured meats. In others, you'll find classic Bolognese tortellini in various versions. Glasses of wine and appetizers are also available. There's limited seating, so expect to eat standing up, like at a buffet. If you want the security of a table, either wait or go to the various nearby restaurants. Restrooms are available. The price is reasonable for the location, and €10-15 will get you something to eat. Order and cleanliness are not always maintained.
