A typical dinner in a restaurant off the beaten tourist track, about 650 meters from the metro station; for this reason, we enjoyed the authentic flavors of traditional cuisine.
Two simple dishes, spaghetti alla gricia and beef strips with arugula, were prepared and served like few others in Rome.
Good value.

Authentic dishes. Excellent polenta with spare ribs and radicchio and gorgonzola risotto (perfectly creamed). Attentive, polite, and impeccable service. Very clean place. Well done!

The dishes served at this restaurant are a true ode to Italian cuisine! We ordered the spaghetti carbonara (too bad I can't post a photo) and the gnocchi with four-cheese cream sauce, which were soft and had an impeccable consistency! The homemade tiramisu rounded out the experience. Bravo!

I've been to Mercato 8 several times with two school groups I accompanied, and we've had a great time. The group menu is affordable and high-quality! Today I went back with my boyfriend: we ate divinely: amazing fresh fried potatoes cut into flaky sheets, pasta all'amatriciana and alla gricia (a rating of 10+), and a mouth-watering fresh tiramisu. The portions were generous and the price was absolutely fair. But all of this wouldn't have been so appreciated if it weren't for such a friendly and welcoming staff. I'm especially referring to Laura and Veronica: adorable! ❤️ Thanks also to Gianni! You feel right at home there! Overall, highly recommended!!

A very decent restaurant located next to Via La Spezia. It offers a variety of menus at very reasonable prices, offering guests a wide range of options. Very pleasant staff. The terrace is a highlight of the establishment.
