The food is excellent. The place is small but very welcoming. The dishes are truly excellent, prepared with top-quality ingredients and traditional flavors. I highly recommend it: you'll be satisfied, just like I was, and I wasn't expecting such generous and delicious portions.

The dishes served at this restaurant are a true ode to Italian cuisine! We ordered the spaghetti carbonara (too bad I can't post a photo) and the gnocchi with four-cheese cream sauce, which were soft and had an impeccable consistency! The homemade tiramisu rounded out the experience. Bravo!

I've been to Mercato 8 several times with two school groups I accompanied, and we've had a great time. The group menu is affordable and high-quality! Today I went back with my boyfriend: we ate divinely: amazing fresh fried potatoes cut into flaky sheets, pasta all'amatriciana and alla gricia (a rating of 10+), and a mouth-watering fresh tiramisu. The portions were generous and the price was absolutely fair. But all of this wouldn't have been so appreciated if it weren't for such a friendly and welcoming staff. I'm especially referring to Laura and Veronica: adorable! ❤️ Thanks also to Gianni! You feel right at home there! Overall, highly recommended!!

A very decent restaurant located next to Via La Spezia. It offers a variety of menus at very reasonable prices, offering guests a wide range of options. Very pleasant staff. The terrace is a highlight of the establishment.

If you want to eat excellent fish, you have to come here to Mercato 8. Not just fish, but all the dishes are very good and plentiful. Roman cuisine, excellent wine.

I honestly don’t understand the negative reviews — this was one of the best seafood pasta dishes I’ve ever had! Everything was incredibly fresh, the pasta perfectly al dente, and the flavors were absolutely delicious. I started with a classic tomato and burrata caprese, which was fresh, simple, and full of flavor — the perfect way to begin the meal. I was served in English without any problem, the wine was excellent, and I enjoyed every bite.
I left the restaurant completely satisfied and would recommend it with my eyes closed. A true gem!
