I had a serious dinner at Carnizzeria yesterday with my mother and son. The food is always impeccably prepared, and I'm amazed at how consistently it tastes, if anything, better than the last. Special thanks to the young man and woman on duty last night, who were incredibly kind, a quality hard to find in a non-family business. The staff at Carnizzeria know how to make you feel at ease. The owner is very fortunate to have such kind, knowledgeable, and competent staff. Top

I went there last week for a birthday lunch.
I have to say, I'd had a great time the previous times.
This time, the meat arrived cold!
It's also unacceptable to serve juicy grilled meat on paper plates.
Everything was absorbed by the cardboard... and cold, to boot... heartbreaking!!
Plus, seeing a small dog eating from its owner's plate was the height of disappointment.

This was my third visit to Carnizzeria Kilo on Via Tuscolana, and I can confirm it's a guaranteed success. I booked the day before for the following day, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful.
The meat is top-quality: we had the wagyu, a delicious truffle tartare (and I say this as someone who doesn't usually like truffles... so much so that I even had seconds!), and a spectacular beef tataki. The potatoes were also excellent.
For drinks, I chose a Valpolicella red, which paired perfectly, and to finish, a truly delicious carrot cake.
The place is small but welcoming, with no frills or pretenses: you come here to eat meat prepared properly. If you want to eat good red meat, Carnizzeria is the place. I'll definitely be back!
