I had already been here and returned with some friends for an aperitif... a varied and plentiful buffet... it is constantly changing as the dishes are finished... all the staff are courteous and polite... a meeting place where you can spend a quiet evening... but what amazed me so much was the honesty I found in the owner and the guys who work there... before leaving... going to the bathroom I lost a gold ring of great sentimental value... I noticed it on my way home... I called... the owner checked and, not finding it, advised me to call back the morning after the routine cleaning... that morning I called again and was told it had been found... when we went to pick it up, the owner also offered us coffee and I noticed that the employees had understood the emotional value it had for me... I have to applaud the owner and all the staff... because in a world where honesty is increasingly rare, they have made a difference. Thanks again.

The place is beautiful, in a great location, with delicious food, but make peace with the HOURS! How is it possible that it's still closed at 7:30 in the morning? How can a restaurant/café like this be closed on Sundays, when families go for a walk in the Parco degli Acquedotti? Moreover, now that the Metro A line stops at Su Augusta this month, they could have increased their revenue fivefold... never mind!

Different than expected. I visited this restaurant for dinner, but from the moment I arrived, I had the feeling I'd chosen the wrong place: the music was quite loud and there were many people enjoying cocktails and other drinks after dinner. I'd booked in the afternoon and was given a table for two, but it wasn't ready when we arrived. Browsing the menu, I immediately noticed it was different from the one published on the website: in particular, they were no longer serving pinsa (the main reason we'd chosen the restaurant), but only pizzas. So we changed and opted for the "Mitico" option, described as "a huge selection of cured meats, cheeses, pickled vegetables, bruschetta, and daily specials, all accompanied by freshly baked focaccia and mixed fried foods." However, our table received: cured meats (excellent quality), a single type of cheese, a plate of chips with two supplì each, one bruschetta each, and a focaccia for two to share. The daily specials and pickled vegetables were therefore missing, and overall the selection of cheeses, bruschetta, and focaccia seemed more limited than described on the menu. The place is nevertheless very well-kept and clean; the staff is friendly and helpful, and the drinks selection is also excellent. Overall, however, I think it's more suitable for an aperitif or after-dinner drink rather than a proper dinner, despite the menu also offering several main course options.

As a true Foresto, as always, a simple request was enough to convince me to have an apericena with friends/colleagues. No sooner said than done, I sat at the table ordering a delicious, fresh bottle of Passerina, which I'm an expert on. It's no coincidence that I won the bet with the staff who served us: 12.5° is the alcohol content of Passerina. The atmosphere, courtesy, and friendliness of the staff were there, despite our demanding requests. We pointed out the poor quality of the IPA beer (two out of two glasses were bad). The staff inquired and, upon discovering that it was, in fact, the dregs, they immediately replaced it. Some of us chose Passerina and Giulietta, others beer and burgers. Everyone was very satisfied. Congratulations, I'll definitely be back.

21/12/2025: I'd saved the location as a must-visit after reading an article about Gennaro Pernice being a taste ambassador for Zagarolo. I took advantage of a classical music concert in Monte Compatri and brought my parents there. I booked and they immediately addressed me informally, which was fine by me, but I found it a bit cheeky for the reception staff to address two octogenarians upon arrival. We entered a rather noisy and OTT room, but de gustibus, it was fine. The girl pointed out the QR code on a jar. I asked if they had a paper menu for my parents, who aren't exactly digitally savvy. The girl very kindly informed us that the head waiter would come and list the dishes. Without much enthusiasm, the head waiter began the list, but there were many dishes, all a bit unusual. My elderly parents are also a bit deaf, and in a noisy (too) noisy room, they couldn't understand much. Since I've managed to access the menu, the head waiter delegates the menu explanation to me. It's really complicated, so we opt for pizzas. My parents order two Margheritas, my dad a pork tenderloin with apple puree, and my mom just grilled vegetables. I order a mixed house antipasto and a Fiordalì pizza. The antipasto, which was supposed to come with the pizzas, arrives immediately, but the Margheritas don't show up for over an hour. We eat the antipasto. Meanwhile, they apologize because everyone is ordering pizzas and the pizza chef can't make it... the two Margheritas arrive; at this point, I was hoping for mine too. No, that arrives with the rest. The pork tenderloin arrives, then my pizza a little later, and finally the grilled vegetables... amen! The pizzas are good, but a little charred underneath... the pork tenderloin was stringy and dry, at least the piece I tried. Grilled vegetables with very fragrant peppers, but the eggplant was charred on the side you can't see... I'll save the pizza, but it's probably best to avoid it on a Saturday night. P.S. It would have been nice to print out a paper copy of the menu on the spot. You must have a printer in all that pomp, right?! Next time I'll print it out first and bring it with me. Oh no, there won't be a next time.

Ristorante dell'Agriturismo Il Casale delle Ginestre

12/01/2026: We stayed at this beautiful farmhouse with my family and our dog for a weekend of tranquility, relaxation, and good food, and our expectations were met! The infinity pool is spectacular, but for those of us with children, the children's play area and numerous farmyard animals are also not to be underestimated! Highly recommended!
01/01/2026: We decided to have a family lunch here and couldn't have chosen a better place. The food and service were excellent. For the kids, there were animals to see and a slide and various outdoor games. We'll definitely be back, and even though we're from Rome, we'll spend a weekend here to be immersed in nature and with a beautiful infinity pool. It was a truly pleasant discovery.
