This charming restaurant, with its delightfully decorated ambiance, has become a must-visit for me whenever I'm near Lago di Iseo. From appetizers to dessert, every dish I've tried has been exceptional, showcasing fresh ingredients and skillful preparation. On my recent visit, I started with the Carpaccio di Manzo and Burrata, both of which were perfectly balanced and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I opted for the Risotto al Franciacorta , Stracotto d'Asino (slow-cooked donkey stew), and Coniglio (rabbit dish). Each was cooked to perfection and offered a unique and delicious experience. The price point is incredibly reasonable, making Trattoria del Gallo an outstanding value for the quality of food and ambiance. Whether you're a local or a visitor, I highly recommend stopping by this gem for a delightful Italian dining experience.

It is undoubtedly a restaurant that lives up to its fame, which has remained unchanged over time! Congratulations to Leo in everything and for everything.....from the staff, to the quality of the dishes that are served to you!!

Leo, his staff, his cuisine. Sardinia, but not only, on the table. Quality, tradition, excellence. Very high quality fish (oysters, gianchetti, sea bass, sea bream, moleche...), a highly respectable cellar, from appetizer to dessert (seada...) without the slightest hitch. The environment is warm and welcoming, elegant but not snobbish. If you want to be pampered and satisfy your palate, breathe in new and ancient scents (shrimp and truffle dumplings, for example...), spend a lunch or dinner in company or alone, Leo and his Calanca are a brilliant choice.

Tried the new grill area: Excellent. The only flaw, you can't charge €15 for three pieces and I mean three pieces of sausage for a child. (this is the only stain of the evening). For the rest impeccable service, for the environment a little noisy, but nothing special. I will try the fish part, which looks excellent to me. Hoping not to have other "stains" (which I will point out this time)

Premetto che sono un cliente abituale e continuero' a esserlo. Ultimamente sono rimasto un pochino deluso dalla riduzione delle quantità delle portate, forse più frutto di una strategia (spingere a ordinarie più portate) che dal lievitare dei prezzi. Gli aspetti alle vongole e bottarga, oltre a essere aumentate del 20% nel prezzo, sono rudotti a non più di 50gr. di pasta e le vongole arrivano già tolte dal loro guscio, che però viene messo vuoto nell'impiattamento. Quindi, o le servi sgusciate, o le lasci nel loro guscio, non serve buttare nel piatto i gusci vuoti. Quindi, 50 grammi di pasta e 10 vongole a 20 euro sono decisamente troppi. Ottimi i secondi e gli antipasti, e prezzi corretti.

Pesce crudo al top, servizio ottimo

Son stata a cena e il cibo era tutto buonissimo, dall’ antipasto al dolce. Servizio cortese e ambiente tranquillo.

Mangiare alla Calanca è un esperienza sensoriale, il pesce è davvero superlativo, ogni portata dall'antipasto, ai primi e i secondi sono curati al minimo dettaglio... per non parlare del servizio... ottimo!!! LEO SEI SEMPRE UNA CERTEZZA ... SIETE FANTASTICI!!!! Lo consiglio vivamente

Un bel locale, conosciuto anche da vip, con prezzi però onesti e ottima qualità del cibo e del servizio. Sicuramente ci tornerò.
