I've traveled through Rome, Amalfi, San Giovanni Rotondo, Manopello and a few other places on my trip to Assisi, and the food served at this restaurant has been my favourite thus far. I was informed that the chef was taught by her nonna, which gave me a sense that what was being served here was authentic Umbrian cuisine. Every meal was of excellent quality and every bite left me eager for the next.

Visitando Assisi non si può non cenare in un posto con un carattere storico e affascinante come il ristorante Medioevo: location decisamente particolare, piatti abbondanti e gustosi, personale cortese che ti fa sentire come a casa.

Ristorante particolare ed elegante nel centro storico di Assisi. La struttura ha origini antiche, come ci ha spiegato il proprietario che è stato molto gentile e disponibile nell'accoglierci e nel dedicarci anche qualche minuto per raccontarci alcune curiosità. La sala è ampia, ma allo stesso tempo si gode di una certa intimità. Dal menù si possono scegliere i piatti tipici della tradizione umbra, buona anche la scelta dei vini. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e i prezzi sono assolutamente nella media.

Very nice restaurant, just outside the main street (and the chaos), very good and quality food. Personally I took the bruschetta mix, EXCELLENT (especially the one with caramelized onions) and a really good mixed grill. Very kind and friendly staff, and the owner, a great person. If you are in Assisi you cannot miss a good meal in this restaurant. Congratulations 😊

My boyfriend and I had a great meal! TOP liver pate and spectacular truffle! The place is delicious and the staff is very kind and friendly. We had a great time!

28/08/2024: The outside does not do justice to the place which appears welcoming and very well looked after inside. The food is amazing and the service is equally amazing. You have to wait a bit for the dishes but it's all rewarded by the excellent food. We will gladly return.
16/08/2024: Pleasant restaurant with waiter who speaks French. Excellent pizza, truffle spaghetti, grilled octopus, illuminated outdoor parking reserved for restaurant customers.
