DISAPPOINTING AND RUBBERY PIZZA

They seated us in the secondary room below a staircase; the charming atmosphere was only found upstairs and in the other room. There were two tables, and it was so noisy you couldn't even hear your own table. It's best to ask for a better seat when booking. The food is good, the ingredients are excellent, and the prices are average. We ate over an hour after arriving.

There's too much arugula (large leaves) on the crudaiola. And the diced tomatoes make the pizza a bit too soft.

Excellent dishes, sensational products, service and hospitality to remember.

You're in Puglia, more precisely in Ortanova, after days of traveling... It's lunchtime, and my friend Mimmo says to me: "Let's go to Ascoli for lunch." I think to myself: "Isn't it far?" But I keep quiet... After a few minutes, we arrive in this little village called Ascoli Satriano. We quickly find ourselves at MEDIOEVALYS. As soon as we enter, I exclaim, "WOW!" and I wonder if it's as I think it is, I'm eating well today... The appetizers arrive, followed by the first courses... It's all good, needless to say (unfortunately, emotions can't be fully explained without trying it yourself). Mrs. Grazia explained the composition of the dishes so well and with such passion that we could taste the flavors before tasting them... I don't know when I'll return to Puglia from Sardinia, but I know I'll be back at MEDIOEVALYS sooner or later. If you try the food, you'll definitely want to come back.

In a medieval atmosphere, you can enjoy good-quality dishes, with fast service and the discreet, professional presence of the staff. Excellent value for money. Definitely worth returning.
