I went here with a group of friends for an aperitivo, and I have to say it was a truly wonderful experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, perfect for chatting and spending a few hours together. The drinks were well-made, and we were also satisfied with the aperitivo: the portions were just right and everything was delicious. A special mention goes to the service, which was truly excellent—the staff were kind, attentive, and fast without being intrusive. Overall, a place I would happily recommend for an evening with friends. We'll definitely be back!

Friendly service and a solid pitstop in Trastevere We stopped at Meccanismo by chance while walking through Trastevere. We were hungry and needed a break, and this place fit the bill. While it doesn't feel like a traditional Italian spot, it’s a comfortable place to sit. The staff were incredibly nice and patient with us while we decided what to order. We went with a Caesar Salad and a Diet Sprite. The salad was perfectly fine—nothing extraordinary, but it did the job. This seems like a great hangout for a younger crowd or if you just need a break from pasta. I probably wouldn't seek it out specifically for an "Italian" meal next time, but for a quick, friendly stop, it was good!

Da Fortunato al Pantheon

10/02/2026: We ate there on our last night. Excellent service, delicious dishes and pleasant environment. Prices are higher than other restaurants but probably because it is very close to the Pantheon.
07/02/2026: Fortunato is a perfect stop by the Pantheon on Rome. We have been there about 4 times, years apart. Sitting outside is best. il servizio è perfetto!
