The food was very good, although I've had better pasta. I ordered the carbora, which I found a bit salty. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and the location. The service was excellent.

It’s not very often you find a truly authentic restaurant sitting right in the middle of one of the biggest tourist areas in Rome, but that’s exactly what Fortunato al Pantheon is. Incredible food, old school Roman hospitality, beautiful atmosphere, and the kind of experience that reminds you why Italy does dining better than almost anywhere in the world. What a fantastic night.

A random choice, but what a surprise! I wanted octopus, and it was excellent! (That's what convinced me to choose this seafood restaurant.) The appetizer (which we shared): zucchini blossoms: a real treat! Cooked to order and full of flavor. My friend's main course: homemade spaghetti with pepper and truffles: deliciously fragrant even on the table! A real delight. Great team and great ingredients. I highly recommend it.

We dined at Fortunato al Pantheon for a special evening. We were a group of six, and we were truly delighted. The food and service were top-notch: everything was carefully crafted, from the dishes to the recommendations received during dinner. The staff guided us through our choices with flair and professionalism, making us feel welcomed from start to finish. It's reassuring to see a restaurant with such a distinguished reputation still maintain such high levels of quality and authenticity, especially in Rome, where sadly many places are losing their identity. An absolutely 5-star experience.

26/07/2026: I needed a last minute aperitif for around 25 guests. I hadn't been able to book properly because I didn't know exactly the right time we could have been at Bar Monti, (it was graduation day for my younger son and I really couldn't know if the timetable set could maybe have a delay or not). When we did arrive the staff accomodated us on the patio, in the shade, we took up almost all the space. The service was punctual, cheerful and friendly even though it was a last minute stress for them, without a booking. They served us up till the last sandwich, toast, available!!! The guests had a great time, the waiter was great, the baristas and general staff were great, the vibe was great. They made our after-graduation date memorable and I thank them publicly here because they so deserve it!
12/07/2026: Lovely place, inside and outside. I had breakfast with my kids and everything was just perfect. Pancakes were super fluffy and I had a Club Sandwich, which was really tasty (and beautiful).

30/05/2026: A place worth a visit again. Spend an evening with friends around the pool table, while the younger ones can let off steam playing foosball or ping pong. I enjoyed the pinsa menu, and I should also try the pasta dishes, although I think the cacio e pepe should be served with spaghetti or six tonnarelli, not mezze maniche. The staff is attentive and friendly. I'll be back.
23/05/2026: Mrs. Sandra is a truly delightful person, as is her daughter Giorgia and all the staff, who are always available. A family atmosphere, with attention to detail, a country atmosphere, and plenty of beers on tap, including Guinness 😋
