We came to you because a fellow Italian chef (Alessandro from York) had an event there a while ago, and the food looked very good, as did the location. We arrived without a reservation because we were in the area. They found us a table because it was before service started, so we were very happy. We asked for a Negroni (there were only six of us at the time), and the other four asked for wine. The Negroni arrived after 15 minutes.
Later, in the dining room, already at dinner, the young man with short hair (sorry, I didn't ask his name) was very helpful. We were thinking of a six-course menu to try a little bit of everything, but he recommended five. The kitchen was good, and I had some suggestions for a few dishes, but the problem arose when we found a Pelo on our plate. We were almost finished eating that dish and decided to finish it anyway. I mentioned this to the waiter in a low, polite voice, and he very kindly told us he would let the kitchen know. Apparently no one in the kitchen did anything. We ordered a dessert and a genapì. We paid €152 and still left a €20 tip in cash, which the waitress with the red glasses didn't even acknowledge.
I hope this post can help the chef-owners who were there anyway and didn't do anything.
Best regards,

A very nice experience, the place is a real gem and we finished all the dishes. The waiters were kind.

This is an exceptional restaurant. Their takes on the Roman classics were all phenomenal. The rigatoni all’amatriciana was the best we had in Rome. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly.
So why three stars? The lighting is a literal crime against humanity. Every table has a 1 million watt bulb hanging right in front of your face shining right in your eyes. You are basically in a Guantanamo Bay enhanced interrogation. It completely ruined our meal. I had a headache the rest of the night because of it. They need to figure out a way to reduce the brightness of the bulbs or put shades on them to direct the light down at the table rather than in your eyes.

A disappointing overpriced meal. The restaurant really had no atmosphere, the tables are very far apart so it feels like a huge separated room, the music also had no vibe. We ordered beef ceviche, toast, tripe and fried anchovies. Ceviche was lovely, tripe was also nice, but everything was SO oily and greasy (of course fried food is cooked in oil) but even the toast was absolutely drenched in oil. Our mains were cleared and after half an hour we asked for the bill, and the waiter told us we ordered wagon wheel pasta (miscommunication as we wanted everything together, no one’s fault) and we would have to pay for it even if we were in a rush to leave because it was ready - understandable, but for a main to come out 30 mins after clearing is ridiculous, it took so long that we forgot we ordered it! Also felt like they forgot to make it until we said we wanted to pay and leave.
