I had the best carbonara of my life: creamy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, an absolute masterpiece!
Special mention also goes to the beef carpaccio with herbs: a very fresh, tender, and truly delicious dish.

Located near the Palazzo Farnese, the La Carbonara restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes. My choice proved to be excellent, as the taste of delicious food lingers in my mind even a day has passed since the meal.

Even though this restaurant is in a very touristy area, the food was genuinely good. The Carciofo alla Giudia and the Carbonara were especially outstanding. The service was professional, and the waitresses were friendly throughout the meal. I also enjoyed the Negroni

I almost let myself be swayed by the comments that the carbonara was too salty… I advise you not to miss this restaurant… Simply SPECTACULAR, the best pasta we ate in Rome. We ordered carbonara and amatriciana. The house olive oil is delicious. The service from Eduardo and Aura was also excellent.

Had a wonderful meal at La Carbonara! I had gone on a food tour a couple of days earlier, and our guide highly recommended this place, especially the carbonara. However I had never had anything like oxtail ravioli (ravioli ripieni di coda alla vaccinara), and I took a chance on that instead. So delicious! The tiramisu for dessert was fantastic as well. My server was very attentive and friendly as well!

This place was a decent spot in the plaza we were staying at. The cacio e pepe was the best pasta out of the 3. The carbonara was good but a tad bit salty but the eggy texture was maintained well. The amatriciana was also good. The fried tripe was pretty good and not super chewy. The fried Jewish artichoke was also very good and fried well with salt and garlic.
The place was very easy to walk in and get seats and the staff was very attentive and nice. The outdoor seating and atmosphere allows you to get a full view of what's going on in the plaza.
