We stopped for dinner during a camper tour of the magnificent Apuan Alps. It turned out to be a great idea: excellent food, friendly staff, and a beautiful location just steps from the historic village of Isola Santa, with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. We love hiking in the mountains, and the area is perfect for that; we'll be back! We hiked the Col di Favilla Puntato loop, starting and ending right at the restaurant. The only downside is that there are limited parking spaces, but if you avoid peak days, it's no problem. We parked our (small) camper easily!

We received a very warm welcome from Moci (the chef at the Osteria) and were served delicious food two hours before the official opening time. Thank you so much!

We went for lunch; the place is large and the owner is very welcoming! Everything we ate was really good! It's a place I'd love to return to!
