MATSU, Bari In Bari

One of the best restaurants to eat in Bari if you are craving for some sushi. Great food selection! Offers wine and other bar drinks, very cosy, excellent customer service. 😉

The quality is undoubtedly very high... superb sushi... really good... but I've been to other sushi restaurants and noticed some notable differences... the meager amount of fish on the nigiri and the thick, lumpy rice... I didn't like that... carpaccio made of very thin, tiny slices... you could almost not taste the fish... But still, an excellent restaurant, nice atmosphere too... fantastic desserts!

The atmosphere is spacious, welcoming, and moderately elegant. The service is attentive and fairly quick, despite the number of guests. There's a wide selection of dishes, both raw and cooked, and they're all beautifully presented. The quality of the ingredients is good and the flavors are very pleasing. Prices are in line with the above. A couple of courses average about €40 per person, including drinks.

Regardless of the prices and the type of dishes offered, in our opinion they are still among the best in Bari both for quality and for the accuracy in serving even a simple "roll", but the kindness or rather the gesture of allowing the customer to enjoy a digestive at the end of the meal offered by them in the bar corner without any imposition (as happens elsewhere where they offer you limoncello or bitters of dubious origin) for us was a treat, hoping it was not a coincidence because we are new to the place and that they do it with all the customers.... keep it up because this also makes the difference!

Chef cooking. Super service Excellent unique dishes We had mixed fish capaccio - excellent Then miso soup and coco lime soup, both superb, sashimi salad excellent fresh unique sauce. Special note regarding the Tiramisu - that was the best Tiramisu I ever had

Excellent food and excellent service. The bartender, Tibari, was superb, offering us a taste and smell experience.
