Even though we were there with a Smart Box, we were treated with the same kindness and generosity as any other card-paying customer. I agree with all the enthusiastic comments about the creativity of the dishes; they reflect a fundamental research, not only into the combination of ingredients, but also into the imaginative pairings. I went here for dinner with a friend, and we chose the six-course tasting menu.
The dishes were unique and sophisticated, yet always well-balanced, and everything was truly delicious.
The open kitchen was lovely; it was wonderful to watch the chef and team at work, and yet there weren't any strong odors in the dining room.
We'll definitely be back!

We came to Mater Bistrot for my sister's birthday, and what can I say? It was a wonderful experience... We opted for the five-course menu, and each one was better than the others... I especially love the creamy peanut butter risotto, the oyster with chicken fat... surprising flavors that definitely have their own unique flavor, paired with an exquisite aligoté Bourgogne! Our dinner was a real success, thanks in part to the warm welcome and the professional, attentive service! We'll be back, thank you so much!
