One of those underrated historic places But when you enter, you're enveloped in a family atmosphere, from the warmth of the brazier lit by Lollo's smile and the mastery of Chef Ignazio. Dishes that have made history: BRUSCHETTA WITH PEELED COCKLAWS 😜😜, fresh squid stew, octopus with potatoes, Calamarata di Mastino 🥰, all shared with their smiles. A historic landmark in Fregene, it attracts high-class patrons—footballers and actors are regulars—and finding a table without a reservation is difficult, even on Saturdays. The service sometimes suffers, but the quality of the food is excellent! The bruschetta with clams and cockles is fantastic. The risotto is exquisite, along with the freshest oysters and octopus. The prices are reasonable for the high quality of the fish.

06/05/2026: I really want to reserve a table, but they don't respond to emails or Instagram. How can I make a reservation?
04/05/2026: Aroma was a wonderful experience. Unparalleled views with good food and service. I would recommend sunglasses if you’re in the early seating time, as the first 30-45 mins did have bright sun, however watching the sun set over the colosseum and other major landmarks was well worth it. We ordered the vegetarian tasting menu which was quite good. Our sommelier and other staff were informative and helped enhance the experience. Book early, as soon as your date opens, which was approximately 3 months in advance.

23/03/2025: Tornati per una cena di lavoro e uno dei ristoranti più eccellente di San lorenzo, porzione abbondanti e i sapori ottimi si sente la materia prima la Grecia con i carciofi sublime e poi lo stinco e la guancia sono veramente buonissima e dire pocooo , e infine il dolce Canestrello fragole è nutella tocchi il cielo lo consiglio a tutti, poi il servizio molto professionale e attento con una pecca se si può dire il cameriere e juventino ma ci può stare molto simpatico e cordiale. Qualità prezzo ottimoooooo tocca provare la pizza alla prossima.
23/02/2025: Locale molto grande, pulito e curato. Senza fronzoli ma con tanta sostanza. Direi che l'esperienza è stata più che positiva; personale cordiale, educato e disponibile. Buone le materie prime anche se per i primi, molto abbondanti, la pasta era un po' troppo al dente. Esperienza da ripetere. Assolutamente consigliato.
