Eating dinner barefoot in the sand is a really nice experience! The wait was a little long but it was worth it! We will be back.

Mussels that seem to have been caught from the sea, raw scampi, a large tray of Catalan-style prawns, grilled sea bass and a tiramisu that I still lick my chops, a breeze, an Italian sparkling wine at 13 degrees, a grappling wine........whatever else?

I was invited to dinner by a friend who had been recommended this place... and I must say that I was immediately impressed... very kind and knowledgeable staff... a fabulous location, especially the dinner on the beach... the food was excellent and cooked with skill... the fish is always very fresh and offered in an attractive way... super recommended

Quiet beach establishment with well-spaced sunbeds. There is a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The kiosk on the beach is well stocked with the possibility of having a cheap lunch. Approved!

I went with some friends and we tried the mastiff. We ate the bruschetta with clams, mussels, raw scampi, catalan and octopus as an appetizer and it was all delicious, especially the fried octopus. As a first course, very tasty spaghetti with clams and finally fried squid, chips and other baby octopus. Everything excellent. A spectacular view and a very beautiful place, even if a little old. Fairly low prices: all this plus dessert (there were 5 of us) we spent €246. Very satisfied

Mastino è un posto storico, una pietra miliare del Villaggio dei Pescatori di Fregene. Siamo ormai abituali clienti del ristorante del quale apprezziamo, oltre alla buona cucina, al pescato sempre freschissimo ed alle proposte "del giorno", quell'atmosfera un pò anni '60 che ti porta indietro nel tempo. L'estate si può mangiare sotto una ombrosa veranda oppure ai tavoli direttamente poggiati sulla sabbia. Ottime le classiche bruschette con le telline (o con le vongole, a seconda del periodo), la catalana, i paccheri e tutto il pescato. Imperdibili: sogliola alla mugnaia e pomodoro spaccato. Ottima la scelta dei vini; da quest'anno un nuovo frigo da vino gigante fa bella mostra all'ingresso. Plauso speciale al sempre gentilissimo Filippo.

Ancora una volta sono qui da Mastino un locale che conosco e frequento e cerco xchè qui mangio sempre bene. Oggi 24 giugno bastano 2 nuvole e molti disdicono. Vi dico che sta uscendo il sole e siamo tanti, ma non tutti. Mancano i soliti che prenotano e poi .....2 gocce di acqua e non di vino ...disdicono. Anche i cani .....scelgono Mastino. Io sono solo un osservatore attento. A me il cibo ed il buon vino a chi non e' venuto....il rimpianto. Io ci sono i cani pure...., manca solo chi prenota e poi non viene.
