Good food from a Parma trattoria.

High-quality traditional cuisine, a warm, family atmosphere, and impeccable service—everyone was extremely kind and knowledgeable. I can't say which course I enjoyed the most; from appetizers to desserts, everything was delicious.

Located on the road between Parma and Langhirano, a short distance from Torrechiara Castle, this spacious, well-maintained, and comfortable restaurant offers parking. Typical local dishes, high-quality and reasonably priced. Recommended.

Excellent food, efficient and discreet service. The price is fair for the quality and preparation of the dishes. I will definitely be back to try the excellent Apulian taralluni! The zuppa inglese is superb.

Unfortunately, my experience wasn't a positive one, much to my disappointment. The fried polenta was very oily. The cured meats were average and few in number. The first course was the one that surprised me the most: tagliolini with prosciutto crudo, topped with parsley and cherry tomatoes. I'd never seen anything like it, and it was obvious the prosciutto was the one that had been blackened and then cooked for reuse. The pork rosette was tasty, but it wasn't well-seasoned inside; there was no discernible prosciutto. I'm giving it three stars out of encouragement because, if the Michelin Guide and others saw something in it, it has potential that seems lost right now.

We ate a typical dish of anolini in broth, delicious, just to warm up, the bacon with polenta that melted in your mouth, very good, the staff very kind, and the place welcoming

This family-run trattoria is located just outside Pilastro, heading towards Torrechiara Castle. It's not very visible from the road. There are about twenty tables spread across two floors, and the atmosphere is quiet. During the warmer months, a spacious marquee is also used in the garden, but it's a bit more anonymous and noisy. The wait staff is very friendly, and the service is quick. The cuisine offers good-quality, innovative local dishes: among the first courses, tagliolini with Parma ham and potato gnocchi with salami paste are truly delicious. The second courses, especially the Pilastro rosellina and the golden duck, are particularly noteworthy. Good value for money. A small tip: the presentation of the dishes on the website is too reminiscent of tourist-oriented menus and doesn't reflect the quality offered.
