The location is beautiful, both inside and out. Every detail is carefully thought out, from the tables, seating, lighting, to the plating and cutlery. The menu draws on tradition but reinterprets it with elegance, offering tastefully updated dishes. Everything is delicious: the bread from the Brisa bakery, the gnocchetti, the meat, but also the desserts and wines. The prices are a bit high, but in line with the type of restaurant and the overall quality.
My only regret is that I came for a particular dish, but the menu had just changed—a shame!

The quality at Serra Sole is always top-notch!!! I returned after being there in July, and it remains a sure thing. Expertly prepared dishes, impeccable service, and a welcoming location. A place I love returning to, to find what's hard to find elsewhere!!!

Beautiful veranda with a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
Really excellent appetizers, delicious lasagna and tortellini. The grilled beef was exquisite, accompanied by perfect crispy potatoes. The best apple pie I've ever had!
Very kind and welcoming staff. Highly recommended.

At this recently reopened restaurant, you'll immediately notice chef Max Poggi's attention to detail as soon as you enter, even before you sit down.
Regarding the food, the menu offers a wide range of options, all in the style of the renowned chef, but its distinguishing feature is essentially its modern interpretation of traditional dishes, masterfully interpreted by Max.
The service staff is particularly friendly and, when explaining the menu, seems eager to share with you experiences they've already experienced.
It's an experience worth repeating, preferably with those closest to you, and one you'll recommend to friends.
The quality-price ratio is definitely adequate.

The new "refined trattoria" format is only partially convincing. The ingredients are good quality, but not all dishes are compelling. The passatelli with clams is actually passatelli with Genoese pesto. The few lupini beans disappear both visually and in taste. The culatta and giardiniera are good quality, but the crescentine (fried gnocco, fried cake) are rubbery, lacking a crispy crust. Overall, the portions are still tasting menu-style, so a bit on the small side. The prices are medium-high. The atmosphere is modern, but the acoustics are very noisy, despite some (but not all) sound-absorbent panels. The service is friendly and helpful. Just be careful with the coffee service. It should be served piping hot, not lukewarm.
