On this glorious day in the year of grace 2025, I, Sir Ludovico de Téléton, knight of high lineage and taster to the king, rode to the house called Serra Sole, in the city of Trebbo di Bologna, and was received there with the reverence due to my rank and noble person.
Before my mouth had touched the food, I gazed upon the surrounding countryside: hills golden under the sun, orchards and fertile lands, and the gentle breeze carrying the scent of the land, promising a feast worthy of the finest tables. With keen eyes, I observed the gestures of the servants and the manner in which the dishes were arranged, for no one should judge a banquet without knowing its artistry and worth.
I laid my hands on the tortellini, tasted them, inhaled their aromas, and all the mysteries of their flavors were revealed to my senses. Each bite, subtle and refined, testified to the virtuosity of the artisans and the grandeur of the land, worthy of praise for His Majesty.
Praise be to Serra Sole and the splendor of the Trebbo lands! May every knight, nobleman, or ambassador passing through these places pause, contemplate, and taste, for no dish could better honor the land and the dignity of a lord of my rank.

Dustin Hoffman never made a mistake in a film and chef Max Poggi never made a mistake in a restaurant, top-notch cuisine and service which, in my opinion, would be ennobled by a bare tablecloth. Personally, I'm not crazy about it, but let's talk about details.

First of all, I find it unfair that the photos and reviews of the previous restaurant, which was of a completely different caliber, were not removed. The restaurant was recently renovated and its philosophy has completely changed, without even offering a tasting menu. Now it's good-quality trattoria food but with a very pretentious menu. The entrees and appetizers are irrelevant, but the first courses are good. The "vacca" (veal stew) is memorable. For a three-course menu for two, without dessert and with two glasses of wine, we're looking at around €150. The waitresses and dining room staff were very kind, but the kitchen was too slow; the dinner lasted over two hours. I'm sure I'm at least €50 more than I should be, given the much less complex dishes compared to my previous restaurant.

Everything was perfect, from the food to the service.
Passatelli with clams, a 10/10.
We couldn't find a single flaw or blemish.
Max Poggi never disappoints.

My friends and I had a unique experience on Saturday evening. Dishes were served with care and had an unforgettable flavor.
The ladies in the dining room explained every dish to us, from the first course to the last, and were incredibly kind.
Excellent wine, highly recommended!!

A wonderful experience. The food was all delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert. If I could make just one small criticism, my tuna portion was really small, even compared to my wife's. The picnic basket idea was lovely (the pickled anchovies were sublime, and the tuna sauce and turnip pairing was also excellent). The egg chitarrine with mussels and stridoli were pure poetry (al dente, cooked to perfection). The tuna was also good. Well done.

A charming place, the location is beautiful, decorated in a modern style. The staff is attentive, very kind and helpful. The food is excellent; I chose the meat menu, and the grilled beef was amazing.
