I ate at Masseria Marino a while ago. The ingredients are of the highest quality and, above all, so authentic. The cured meats are spectacular: made directly by the owner, with animals raised by him. Nothing industrial, but genuine products, with an intense and clean flavor, like those once found in grandparents' homes. The first courses, then, deserve special praise: fresh pasta made in-house, every day. As soon as you taste them, you immediately understand the difference: coarse, full-bodied, fragrant... just that handmade pasta that tastes like family, that takes you back to Sunday lunch. The Podolico steak is one of the highlights: tender, juicy, flavorful. And for those who want to go all out (for the better!), there's also a version with Podolico fondue and truffle... an absolute delight. The desserts are also homemade, and you can taste it: nothing packaged or standard, but authentic flavors, balanced desserts, with that homemade touch that perfectly rounds off an already extraordinary meal. In short, at Masseria Marino you can enjoy food unlike anywhere else, with authentic ingredients, carefully crafted and served with passion. All this in a stunning location in the Lucanian Dolomites, with extremely friendly staff, always helpful waiters, and a friendly and welcoming owner who loves to tell you the story behind what you're eating. Highly recommended for those seeking a true experience, combining flavor, tradition, and human warmth.
Hands down, the best restaurant in the area. Fantastic food, a welcoming atmosphere, and an atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The set menu is a masterpiece: unlimited house wine, two appetizers, two first courses, a sliced steak served on lava stone, dessert, coffee, and liqueurs. And the best part? You can have 2 more of everything! The quality is top-notch, with generous portions and very fair prices, much better than other nearby restaurants that cost the same but offer much less. The dishes are prepared with local, fresh, and authentic ingredients. You can taste the full flavor of Basilicata, the true and authentic one. But it's not just the food that wins you over. The owner is a wonderful person, very kind, welcoming, always with a joke ready, and immediately makes you feel at ease, as if you were at home. And the waiters are also super friendly and professional, always smiling, attentive, and ready to accommodate every request with kindness and charm. All this in a stunning location, surrounded by the Lucanian Dolomites, which makes the experience even more special. Highly recommended for any occasion. You eat great, you feel great, and you leave with a smile (and a full belly!). I have no doubt: one of the best culinary experiences in the area.

A really beautiful and above all very good masseria, a little small, so I recommend you book in advance, fantastic dishes, top waiters, the fixed menu costs €45, perhaps a little too much, but they always ask you if you have consumed everything or not, they asked if we wanted more meat, so they are very kind and consistent, I recommend you go and try it at least once!

Two years ago, in the middle of autumn, I was in this structure and I had the impression of a real farmhouse even if we paid excessively to be one. This time the owner wanted to give the context the touch of a pizzeria (good pizza) but the agritourism atmosphere tends to disappear completely. The menu has prices a little high. The owner, ...has to go back to school... ;-)
