We discovered this masseria by chance, and it was an unforgettable experience! The location is stunning: just minutes from Monopoli, yet immersed in the quiet countryside, in an almost enchanting atmosphere. The trullo buildings are marvelous and convey the authentic essence of Puglia. The food was a real surprise: traditional dishes expertly prepared, allowing us to savor the true flavors of Puglia, authentic and rich in tradition. The welcome was warm and welcoming. Michele and his family immediately made us feel at home, transforming dinner into a special evening filled with smiles, stories, and conviviality. If you're looking for a place where tradition meets authenticity, where you can breathe the air of home and enjoy a unique experience, this masseria is the perfect choice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Sono stata in questa splendida location per la prima comunione di mia figlia, con parenti e amici. Tutto è stato ineccepibile: posto curato internamente ed esternamente ed estremamente pulito. I primi di mare e di terra saporitissimi e impiattati con cura, con ingredienti freschi e genuini. Il piatto a base di carne ha soddisfatto ulteriormente i mei ospiti perché fresca e tenerissima. I salumi e la frutta saporitissimi e freschi. La torta ha rappresentato il momento più bello della festa perché servita nel giardino circondato da trulli e curata in ogni minimo dettaglio. Molta attenzione inoltre è stata riservata agli ospiti con qualche intolleranza e celiaci. Molto buono il servizio e l'attenzione ai clienti da parte del proprietario, Signor Michele e del figlio Girolamo, sempre presenti in sala, con discrezione. I miei ospiti e mia figlia, sono stati contenti e soddisfatti per questo posto davvero suggestivo . Grazie a tutto lo staff della "Masseria Gelso Antico" per la bellissima giornata.

Location assai tipica e suggestiva, nei caratteristici trulli di Puglia. Piatti semplici e genuini, in linea con la Tradizione locale.

We had lunch on Easter day in this typically Apulian family-run location. Basically you have lunch inside the trulli and the atmosphere is really nice! The exterior is surrounded by greenery. Food at km 0! All very good! Friendly staff and the owner, who often visited our table, was really nice!
