I've had the pleasure of visiting Marzapane four times and was thrilled with the experience (except for the last visit, where the matcha latte wasn't served well because the chocolate and milk temperature were lukewarm). From the first moment, you can sense the care and attention to detail: the setting is elegant yet welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere that invites you to linger and savor every moment. The baked goods are simply divine and of the highest quality. The brunch menu is equally remarkable: fresh ingredients, creative combinations, and generous portions. You can sense genuine passion in welcoming customers and recommending the daily specials; perhaps with a little more training, the service could definitely improve. Price and quality go hand in hand.

We were on vacation in Rome, and while searching for a nice place for breakfast, Marzapane came up on TikTok. From the outside, the place leaves a lot to be desired—I wouldn't have given it a cent—but once inside, we were welcomed and pampered. They have a vast menu with several options. We were two, and we ordered a pain au chocolat, a pain suisse, and a plain croissant, all three delicious. The espresso and caffe latte left a lot to be desired. Overall, it was good!

We came for breakfast. By 10:30, many of the pastries were already sold out. The place is cute, although a little too dark for my taste (it's a shame the terrace was closed). The simple croissant was very good, as was a crispy pastry filled with blueberry and strawberry cream: the delicate cream and crunchy texture made it truly delicious. The cappuccinos were very good. The prices are quite high, probably justified by the high quality of the ingredients, but still a bit excessive. In any case, one of the best places for breakfast—and more.

Great breakfast/brunch and good coffee.

While the atmosphere and the vibe are great. Food is absolutely plain and basic. However the coffee was great. If you’re there do not order avocado toast. It’s just a huge piece of hard-to-chew rye bread with some plain greens on top. The amount of avocado on the toast was more like a joke.

Il posto è carino e il cibo di qualità, ma la scelta è molto limitata e soprattutto focalizzata su portate tipo omlette, uova strapazzate e hamburger. Limitata anche la scelta dei dolci.

Caffè specialty, bakery di qualità e menu da moderno bistrot. In più lo location che vince a mani basse. Terrazza rilassante e piano intermedio molto molto carino. Buono l’hamburger, i toast, le uova ma i piatti alla terrazza purtroppo arrivano freddi. Una pecca che fa il paio con la troppa velocità con cui i ragazzi “sparecchiano” per far posto ad altre prenotazioni… anche no.
