Martinucci In Gallipoli

I wanted to try the pasticciotto experience at Martinucci's, renowned by all. We were lucky to get a seat, as we were the last one left due to crowding. I'll start with the flaw, in my opinion—though reading other reviews, it's not just mine—about the lack of staff. A single girl handles orders, table service, and other cleaning duties. With a place this size, it's almost impossible to keep up with the customers. In fact, the service was very slow. That aside, another weak point is the cocktails; unfortunately, they're not their strong point in my opinion. Beyond that, I also had a pasticciotto with lemon cream and almonds. It was very unique and delicious, and there's nothing to complain about. Overall, the experience was positive, but I would improve on these things, which are quite a feat for a place like Martinucci's.

An Italian franchise that remains good and stable in quality. A bit like McDonald's!

A wide selection of ice creams, but they're clearly industrial, based on our tasting. It's a shame, considering competitors offer artisanal products a little further away. Otherwise, there's nothing to complain about regarding the prices and quantities.

This year, too, during the July holidays, we returned to Martinucci on Via Armando Diaz. It's a regular stop for us. We had brunch with fresh fruit, pasticciotto, cappuccino, and a proper espresso... but we were also surprised by the panini and arancini, truly exceptional. A special thanks to Melissa, kind, attentive, and super professional. Everything was clean, the service was fast, and the tables were comfortable, even outside. We had a great time, as always. And when a place makes you feel that way, you're happy to return. Until next time, always on the lookout for the best!

Good, quality products, not too overpriced considering the location. Great for a snack while strolling through the center of Gallipoli.

Excellent gelato, but terrible service. A sign at the register says that products ordered at the counter cannot be consumed at the table. Fine, I say, but too bad we had to wait half an hour for our service and for the table to be cleared. In the meantime, I don't know how many people walked by, who had ordered at the counter and sat at their table without paying service. Not a single member of staff said anything, and we ended up paying for terrible service.

The ice cream is excellent, but the amount of it on the cone is very small. The service is a bit awkward and slow.

Vino a tomar una copa y aperitivo por la tarde. El servicio fue genial y amable. El lugar está impecablemente limpio y muy bien presentado. El personal parece inteligente. Sobre todo las bebidas eran geniales y la pastelería era la mejor que he probado en Italia, realmente increíble. Todo a un precio muy razonable. Lugar encantador y sin duda recomiendo. Solo desearía haber parado aquí para almorzar en lugar de Santa Mónaca, que fue muy decepcionante! 🥴
