Marivista - Fish Restaurant In Catania

Very good seafood restaurant, right on the seafront, one of the few open even when "the season hasn't started yet". In the dining room Salvo will always be able to recommend the right dish for your tastes.

Sakho super nice told us ok to just have a glass of aperitif biscuits at extra cost and very very nice waiter we recommend

The food is not bad but the service is a real mess. The place is well taken care of. Really it is only the waiters' service that needs to improve.

We had a wonderfule experience here. The food was delicious and the price is good for the atmosphere and quality. We asked for a table outside and they set us one up under umbrella with a beautiful view of the sea. There's plenty of place to play for children and a big playground. Also on the ocean. We were here April 5th so weather was still cool. There is also a pool which will be nice in summer. My only critique is the service was a little slow to get served drinks or food. We enjoyed a bottle of wine 15€, beer 3€, kids pasta 6€, melon and prosciutto €10, mussels 15€, big salad with mozzarella and tuna 12€, coffee 1,5€, and more very good prices. The food was all excellent. The café americano was not tasty and in a big glass. I wasn't a fan of the coffee. There is a nice wine list for those familiar with local wines form 15€ up. There's also local artisanal beers and cocktails from 6€.

Salvatore was fantastic and very accommodating. We arrived at 1530 and the service was excellent.

We had a late booking for 4 people at 15:30 but Salvatore the waiter accommodated our group and provided exceptional service throughout. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was very nice despite being a quiet afternoon (before main service began). Excellent negroni. Highlight was the service provided by salvatore. Definitely worth visiting.

Beautiful location on the sea, more than excellent service and more than excellent menu! Compliments!!!

Abrieron el restaurante solo para nosotros a las 5 de la tarde (más tarde de lo habitual almuerzo y muy temprano para la cena, pero teníamos un avión para coger). La comida era muy buena, así como el vino, la ubicación excelente y la gente muy agradable.
