Evening with friends. Restaurant in a beautiful building, with indoor parking. Menu as proposed by the restaurant (I think it's the only option). Standard appetizer with cured meats, Russian salad, and bean soup. Homemade pasta with partridge sauce: superb. Barolo risotto wasn't very successful. Good main courses: roast beef and brandy ribs. Venison bites. Very limited wine list. Good dinner, but everything is really too much. Good service.

We had dinner at this restaurant we'd heard about often. The villa where it's located is truly beautiful and the ambiance elegant. It's a shame about the tablecloth and paper napkins. The menu is announced verbally, so it wasn't possible to choose at your leisure or even see the prices of the dishes. Even the wine...there wasn't a list, just a short one from the waitress. The wine was served too cold, being a red wine. The service was quick but a bit too pushy and insistent because we didn't order the main courses. I had a dish that I consider unique: polenta with donkey stew. It was good, but the portion was small, maybe 6-7 small pieces of meat and a spoonful of polenta...not noisy, great for chatting. But I expected more.

22/02/2026: The undisputed king of the area. You come in hungry and leave feeling at peace with the world, a guarantee in Cuveglio. If you've never tried Istanbul pizza kebab in Cuveglio, you should try it right away. It's huge, overflowing with top-quality meat, and the dough is cooked to perfection. A true delight for the palate, probably the best in the area. The kebab is always fresh, the meat is flavorful, and the portions are decidedly generous. The bread is heated to perfection, and the ingredients are fresh. The piadina is thin and crispy, and the spicy sauce has just the right kick. I have to give an honorable mention to their pizza kebab: if you've never tried Istanbul pizza kebab, you should try it right away. It's huge, overflowing with top-quality meat, and the dough is cooked to perfection. A true delight for the palate, probably the best in the area. The staff is quick and friendly, the place is spotlessly clean, and the service is super efficient even at peak times. Perfect for a quick dinner or a post-evening treat. Unbeatable value. A must-see in Valcuvia! If you're passing through Cuveglio and don't stop by Istanbul, you're missing out on a piece of the valley's history. Awesome!

04/03/2026: We came here in 2019 from France. And we would be ready to return to Italy, especially for Angolo Del Gusto, as this restaurant left us with such wonderful memories of beautiful Italy, with its atmosphere, delicious food, family spirit, and the sheer joy that permeates it! I hope the whole team is doing well. We will definitely be back!
03/03/2026: I won a pizza and a beer by entering the contest. It's a shame about the paella, which I answered too late to answer, otherwise I would have won that too. 😋 But the owner did offer me two desserts. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful, the staff is professional and friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is warm. Highly recommended. Go there! 👍
