Mario's Bakery In Pedrengo

A pleasant discovery; I personally disagree with some of the "1-star" reviews I've read. The place is very well decorated, and I noticed both interesting and high-quality products (I'll definitely consider returning for lunch or an aperitivo, since they have an excellent Ribola gialla). I agree, perhaps, that the coffee price is a bit excessive given the area in which MARIO'S is located. I'd add that, in my opinion, the commercial area doesn't allow a place like this to fully express its potential. If they were in Seriate, they would increase their numbers, both in terms of clientele and brand. The staff is young and courteous, and service times are average (I'm also of the opinion that a place is also a place for a drink and a bite to eat, and that's also a way to take a break).

The food quality is good, the prices are a bit high, but it's still a nice place. The staff could be improved; they're often inattentive and sometimes rude (and that's not just one experience). Overall, the quality of service could be improved.

The bread is delicious, the pizzas excellent, the pasta spectacular, panettone and colombe to die for, fantastic chatter and excellent tasting of the coffee, truly special and explained by an expert. The problem is that the doctors in the area are starting to put in the prescriptions for those with a belly: "Limit visits to Mario's". I always go back though.

We drank a coffee and bought a beer: the first course was good, the beer... forgettable. Very nice place.

I can only speak about the baked goods, which are the only thing I've tried. The bread is the best you'll find in the area, and not only that. The brioches are also very good. You can say what you want about the prices, but you pay for quality, and rightly so, in my opinion. For those who want cheaper options, there's the penny market next door 😁

Nice place with very good breakfast and aperitifs, both brioches and appetizers for the aperitif and the bread is also worth it.
