We would give them 6 stars if possible! The meal was creative, delicious and truly special - we literally talked about it for days afterwards! The night we were there they offered a fixed menu - a 7-course and 5-course option. We tried both! The setting was stunning along the quaint, beautiful Lake Sirino. The staff were beyond friendly and accommodating. Our waitress spoke English and worked with the chef to present each dish. They made simple pasta for our school-aged kids. Also appreciated their local wine selection. Overall wonderful experience! Highly recommend!

Marie—Laboratorio di cucina e spiriti—is a truly special restaurant. Carmine, the owner, warmly welcomes you, making you feel right at home. Family-run and with a professional and friendly staff, this small restaurant serves truly superb dishes! The menu ranges from seafood to meat and lake dishes, varying according to the seasonality of the ingredients, all of which are undoubtedly excellent. In the summer, I recommend making a reservation for a lakeside dinner; you'll be enchanted by the atmosphere. The wine cellar is well-stocked, and if you're unsure of which wines to pair with your dishes, Carmine, a true wine enthusiast, will find the perfect solution. The trout in BBQ sauce is an interesting dish to try, and the beetroot risotto is delicious. I recommend the tasting menu to try a little bit of everything, but if you're really hungry, choose à la carte. A restaurant worth trying if you're in the area!

We opted for the 7-course menu. The cuisine was extraordinary, with delicate flavors and a well-balanced menu. The service was ROYAL; they accommodated all my pregnant partner's requests with wonderful patience. A glass of wine was offered for a small flaw in the lamb. Excellent value. The chef-owner does his job admirably; we've rarely received such a warm welcome. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
