The first courses were delicious (spaghetti with mussels all'arrabbiata, gnocchi with cheese and pepper).
The second course was decent, although the cod was a touch too salty.
The atmosphere was unusual, but pleasant.
We'll be back.

We are staying in the area to view wedding venues and on our first night ventured into the town for dinner at Margo. The service and food was fantastic, and such reasonable prices too. We ended up popping back today for a drink and were greeted by the same host who remembered the wine we were drinking and brought us our snacks for free to accompany our drinks. Do not hesitate to visit and eat here if you are ever in the area! :)

Very cute place and really delicious food!
I love Calci and went to this trattoria for the first time yesterday for lunch.
I had the tordelli lucchesi and the cheek with mashed potatoes! Everything was delicious 🤤 even the dark chocolate cake!
Very friendly and helpful service!
A truly pleasant and wonderful experience :) We'll be back soon!!

A very pleasant end to the trip after visiting the charterhouse. The lady was energetic and very nice, the food was well above average and the wine delicious. The desserts underlined it all. Our whole group thanks and wishes you good luck

When you happen to stop for lunch, drawn solely by the style of the place. You enter and find a typical trattoria, no frills but plenty of substance. A Tuscan-Pugliese menu, ranging from tortelli al ragù to bombette, a trio of eggplants, or Livorno-style cod. A platter of cured meats and cheeses is a must for two if you want to continue lunch!
Good selection of wines and homemade desserts. Prices are reasonable.
Highly recommended.

The cuisine is beyond reproach, the dishes are very interesting and delicious. We came for lunch on Saturday without a reservation after visiting the Natural History Museum. Even though the restaurant was packed, they found us a table. The service was excellent; we felt like we were visiting friends. I highly recommend it!
