We visit Venice often, and Majer is always our first stop in the morning. They make the best cappuccinos, fresh squeezed orange juice and their pastries are some of the best in the world.

Decent food but high prices. Counter staff are rude and incompetent. Twice I've paid for items and they charged me for them, but my items were omitted them from my bag! They also charged me for an item that I didn't order and didn't receive in my bag. Be sure to check your receipt and confirm you were charged correctly. I also suggest making sure your bag contains all of your items before leaving the shop!

Simple, very affordable, and very good, unlike an earlier experience I had in town. Diverse offerings from coffees, desserts, liqueur and even a variety of pizza with fresh ingredients.

Coffee and their frittelle were very good! And for a good price. If you are in Venice there during carnival season don’t miss to try fritelle at Majer. You will not be disappointed!

We ate a slice of pizza with Turkish sausage, cannolo, and creamy fried dough. Overall, it was good. Of course, pizza in Northern Italy isn't exactly what I like. The creams were nice. The cannolo was also good. I deducted points for the service a little. One expects something more practical and a more friendly attitude, especially for tourists. There's a small area outside where you can eat standing up.

Delicious bakery! 👍 I bought focaccia, almond croissants, and frittata, and they were all delicious.

Excellent quality, unfortunately the staff were unfriendly. I understand that during the Carnival period, we're all more stressed and that working with the public isn't easy at all, but my experience left me disappointed. The payment method was by mobile phone, not the usual POS, which in any case reduces the customer's control over contactless payments.
