Experience on January 19th and 20th, 2026. Unfortunately, this restaurant was practically unavailable to us as it's not a popular spot in winter, but this didn't detract from the impeccable service we received. All the dishes were delicious, and the Taurasi Riserva red wine was every bit as good as a Barolo! Two memorable days!

I’ve been to hundreds, if not thousands, of restaurants in my life, and this one is without question my number one. From the moment you walk in, everything feels special. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, with that effortless Italian charm that makes you feel instantly at home. The service is world class, professional, warm, and perfectly timed. The food is exceptional. Each dish is refined, full of flavor, and made with incredible respect for ingredients. You can taste the passion, modern-tradition, and creativity that define the very best of Italian cuisine. This restaurant absolutely deserves a Michelin star. Dining here is not just eating in Italy, it is experiencing Italy at its finest.

I had lunch at the San Gregorio restaurant with my girlfriend, returning after four years. The standard was already high back then, but this time I found it excellent, even better. Besides the impeccable service and breathtaking location, the highlight of this place is the food. We opted for two tasting menus. The amberjack tartare was absolutely the best I've ever eaten in my life. The other dishes were also top-notch. The prices are consistent with the quality and quantity of the food, although considering how much we ate (six courses and several extra appetizers included in the price), the costs are reasonable. In short, a restaurant where you eat very well, you'll leave full, and the price is fair. A place I absolutely must return to and review, because the experience was decidedly positive. What could I have improved? Nothing: impeccable. We even met the chef at the end of the meal. In my personal experience, the San Gregorio restaurant is just as good as any Michelin-starred restaurant.

We had the 6-course tasting menu with wine pairing at Restaurant San Gregorio, and it was truly exceptional. Every dish was inventive, beautifully executed, and full of remarkable flavor. The wine pairing elevated each course perfectly, showcasing the chef’s creativity and deep understanding of balance. Compliments to the head chef and the entire team—the service was flawless from start to finish, making the evening unforgettable. A remarkable culinary experience in every way. Additionally, we stayed at Borgo San Gregorio and had breakfast at Feudi Di San Gregorio every morning – it was one of the highlights of our trip. The breakfasts were amazing, with delicious, beautifully presented dishes, and the service from Celina was outstanding. She was warm, attentive, and always made us feel truly looked after. Thank you, Celina, for starting our days so perfectly!

We were given a gift card featuring a Winery Tour and a four-course tasting menu with matching wines. We appreciated the location surrounded by greenery, the warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the relaxing atmosphere. The excellent cuisine, too, was excellent: high-quality ingredients, meticulous preparation and presentation, and we greatly appreciated the blend of local dishes with those from other regions. The dishes, while seemingly traditional in content, were expertly crafted, refined, and beautiful to look at. I would call them true artistic creations. The wines were excellent. So far, so good, except for a few flaws in the service: in particular, I didn't appreciate the response to my question about the wines, which I felt was a bit lacking in style for such a refined location. Furthermore, I didn't appreciate the ending of the experience. Given that when we showed the vouchers to reception, they told us they didn't need them because they already had a reservation, we were directed and escorted directly to the restaurant. After the tasting, we went to the shop to purchase wine and oil, and finally asked about the cellar tour, but were told we were out of hours. It's a shame that no one at reception had informed us of the procedures and times. Conclusion: the food was excellent, but we were disappointed by the lack of clear communication and information.

If you want to be in a fairy tale, then you've chosen the right place: cellars, wine, dinner, and a staff with as many stars as possible.

The dishes are of excellent quality, the service is not impeccable, the atmosphere is not clear whether it is formal or not, in short the quality is there, the price is worth the experience, but it lacks a clear identity
