The anticipation is heightened by the long bus ride—almost an hour—during which the aggressive and skilled driving style of the municipal drivers unfolds (which deserves a separate review). At the end of the ride, where the road narrows, we take the last stretch on foot. Sant'Angelo d'Ischia is a strip of land, a thin peninsula jutting into the sea, protected by large rocks. It seems to have engendered a reserved, exclusive, and elegant character that shuns the large crowds of vacationers. The restaurant's terraces overlook the sea. It's almost hypnotic. The natural and artificial spaces of the dining rooms blend seamlessly, and one can admire the skill of those who created Casa Celestino. The appetizer, a sautéed clam dish, gloriously paves the way for the first courses: linguine with clams, penne allo scarpariello, and pasta with cherry tomatoes and seasonal vegetables. In short, a superb culinary experience. The desserts are exquisite. The staff moves with discretion and courtesy, creating a sense of being in an environment where elegance and serene informality intertwine. The musician approaches the table and, upon request, plays a witty bossa nova version of "Voce 'e notte" on his guitar. All that remains is to face the crazy ride back to the bus with a peaceful spirit. An evening to remember.

We had the pleasure of dining at this refined seaside restaurant, and I can say it was an unforgettable experience. The location is enchanting, with a breathtaking sea view, creating a romantic and evocative atmosphere, ideal for both a dinner for two and a special occasion. The cuisine is simply extraordinary. The smoked mussels are a unique dish, something I've never tasted before. The flavors are authentic, enhanced by the highest-quality, freshest, and seasonal ingredients.

A great place for a romantic dinner, with a direct view of the sea and the Torre di Sant'Angelo from the terrace tables. The service is very friendly and efficient, and the dishes are top-notch (the ravioli with coniglio, mamamia!!!!)

Good quality, yet generally overpriced (@ dinner time), especially the primi piatti. I have seen a lot of miniature portions going around in this restaurant. Tuna tataki is of decent size (pictured), very good taste, but with a near absent caponata. Excellent atmosphere if you sit at the edge of the terrace (otherwise not much).

The first thing that strikes you upon arrival is the breathtaking view that accompanies the evening: a panorama encompassing the sea and the village, made even more evocative by the sunset. The atmosphere is extremely romantic, perfect for a dinner for two or a memorable occasion. The staff immediately proved to be attentive and courteous, accommodating our every request with discretion and professionalism, making us feel completely at ease. The attention to detail is evident in every detail, from the welcome to the timing between courses. Regarding the food, we can say without hesitation that the cuisine is of excellent quality, focused on the freshest ingredients and prepared with great respect and expertise. We started with two appetizers: a salmon tartare and a shrimp tartare. What can I say? Simply exceptional: the freshness of the fish was evident, the flavor delicate yet intense, as if freshly caught. Every bite spoke volumes about the quality of the ingredients and the expert craftsmanship of those who prepared them. For our first course, we chose seafood linguine, served with a whole langoustine (already sliced for easy tasting) and a generous amount of seafood. The dish impressed us not only with its rich and balanced flavor, but also with its generous portion, making it more than satisfying. A true seafood feast, cooked to perfection. Given the generosity and completeness of the first course, we decided to skip the second course and finish the dinner with dessert. This, too, lived up to expectations: refined, delicious, and beautifully presented. In short, our experience at Casa Celestino was fantastic: a perfect combination of a dream location, top-notch cuisine, impeccable staff, and a magical atmosphere. Highly recommended for those looking for a special evening in Ischia, immersed in the beauty of Sant'Angelo and the authentic flavors of the sea.
