Marea In

On Saturday evening, six of us dined at Marea restaurant. We return every year and always leave feeling very satisfied. The owner and his staff are very professional. The food is excellent, with meticulous presentation and generous portions. What more could you ask for? Thanks for the wonderful evening!!

Excellent experience at Ristorante Marea. We spent a wonderful evening as a couple in a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The food was truly delicious and well-prepared, perfect for a quiet and special dinner. Definitely a place we'll return to!

Given that prices are rising everywhere, especially in Versilia, and portions are increasingly smaller, Marea was a pleasant discovery for a quiet dinner and good food. Now, whenever I need to dine in Versilia, I always call here. The spicy black spaghetti with calamari and cherry tomatoes is a must-try, as is the seafood. As an appetizer, the "svaporata di mare" (seafood vapor) is delicious and plentiful. The courteous and attentive service is a guarantee.

The restaurant offers truly delicious, well-prepared dishes, especially the risotto with asparagus and cuttlefish, which we found very tasty. However, I would like to point out a service-related incident that created some confusion. A simple request for a change (substituting linguine for spaghetti) was initially handled with uncertainty and unclearness, leading to misunderstandings when ordering. Furthermore, the dish arrived incorrectly, and the situation was handled in a less than cordial manner. Subsequently, another waiter intervened very kindly and professionally, clarifying that the change was not a problem, and the rest of the staff was also helpful. Overall, the food quality is excellent, but improving communication and the handling of requests at the table would make the experience even more enjoyable.

I thank the restaurant for hosting me with such kindness. Knowledgeable staff and sublime food. I almost never send reviews, but this time I couldn't help it. I also thank my friend Andrea who recommended this restaurant to me.
