Let me start by saying that my wife, daughter and I went during the Christmas period (low season) and the waiting times were very short. The place is quite nice, clean and welcoming. The cook, the owner's sister, knows her stuff in the kitchen. The dishes are very good, the fish is very fresh and caught in the area, balanced flavours, local and genuine products, even home-grown. The only sore point is the absence of a menu indicating prices, allergens, etc. The cook listed the dishes for us and we ordered without knowing the prices, which in fact turned out to be a little high (for example, a simple but delicious dish of spaghetti with clams costing 25 euros). However, overall positive experience.

We came to Diamante for a walk and with my husband, we decided to eat at this restaurant! Very good food, clean environment and friendly staff. Thank you Mrs Giulia and Mr Alfonso who showed us the beautiful history of these places.

First time we had lunch in this little restaurant we came across by chance and I must say that the experience was positive and the wait was worth it because the owner who is also the cook was alone. We wanted to eat fish and it went very well, high quality and excellent workmanship, all freshly prepared. The prices reflect the quality of the products so nothing to say.
Congratulations to Mrs. Giulia and her brother (Engineer) Alfonso.

My experience at this restaurant was simply unforgettable. Located in the heart of Diamante, this place is a true jewel of Calabrian cuisine and being my first time in Calabria, I was impressed by the quality and freshness of the dishes offered.
Each course was an explosion of flavours, prepared with first choice ingredients and an obvious love for cooking. From fresh pasta to typical local dishes, everything was cooked with care and attention to detail.
Furthermore, the atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and familiar, making every moment of dinner a pleasant and convivial experience. The staff were very kind and attentive, adding an extra touch of warmth to our meal.
In conclusion, I highly recommend it to anyone who is in Diamante. If you are looking for an authentic Calabrian culinary experience, this is the place!

Nice restaurant, with friendly owners. Food was excellent, somehow an insider tip since the restaurant wasn't like that

For what? but for Alphonso's interesting discussions in French, but also and above all for Giulia's excellent cooking. (a kitchen of fresh products). Without forgetting Anna's service. What do you say? the best diamond table? from Calabria? from Italy? In any case, we highly recommend it.

In the kitchen we prepare very fresh and quality products: we ate divinely. The restaurant, recently renovated, is impeccably clean. The owner and her brother are extremely kind, we spent a wonderful evening. If you are near Diamante don't miss this pleasant stop.

Nothing to say about the quality, everything is very good even if the portions are a little poor compared to the price.
Almost all the dishes cost €22 but for the portions (especially the mixed fried food) they should cost less
Clean environment, helpful and kind owner, slightly less waitress.
Even though the place wasn't crowded, the dishes didn't all arrive at the same time, so when one person finished the first dish, another still had to start.

We wanted to repeat the experience at Maramia. After the first dinner with a "divine" first course with shrimp fettuccine made on the spot by the chef with Citron-based dough, the second dinner is even more particular and unique with a single dish of fusilli made on the spot by the Chef with goat meat, as per the tradition of their country of origin in those days. Goat also present in pieces and cooked for several hours so we had to reserve it. Unforgettable!
At the end of the dinner, the Sicilian Cannolo made by the Chef was top marks. Then, offered by the house, various tastings of distillates of their production, based on lemons, arancini, fennel, bay leaves, and above all based on Citron, truly delights for the palate as a notable conclusion to the dinner. Very familiar environment, to make you feel at home and above all the pleasant entertainment with dialogues, during breaks, with Mr. Alfonso of the staff and cashier. Definitely a recommended stop in Diamante.
