A pleasant surprise on Diamante's old waterfront. The high-quality dishes are worth the wait, and there are a few service hiccups (but nothing serious). The welcome is exceptional, and the chef knows her stuff. Recommended because we've been there and returned.

If you're in Calabria and passing through Diamante (CS), you absolutely must make a reservation at the Maramia Restaurant on the seafront. It's not a vegan restaurant, but they're very open to preparing plant-based dishes. The owner and chef Giulia is truly skilled at delighting guests with her vegan options. Last night we dined and chose a completely plant-based menu. We were satisfied from start to finish, both by the sight of the dishes and by the subsequent tasting. We had a delightful time, thanks also to the kindness of Alfonso, Giulia's brother, with whom we exchanged long and pleasant conversations throughout the evening. I recommend you make a reservation 😊

High-quality food on the Diamante seafront. The fish is incredibly fresh and locally caught. The flavors of the dishes are exceptional and well-balanced. The tuna tartare and the sublime mayonnaise that accompanies it are especially noteworthy. Try it. Compliments to the chef and Mr. Alfonso, who welcomes you with unparalleled kindness and courtesy. 5 stars for everything. The quality deserves it.

Simply the perfect combination: a warm, family-style welcome with Michelin-starred cuisine. Giulia is probably one of the best fish chefs. The tartare is magnificent, rich in flavors balanced by the sauce. The spaghetti with clams and lemon is simply indescribable: pure flavor with a fun, captivating aesthetic and presentation. I don't know how she manages to make such a simple dish such a delicacy. Last time I didn't try the dessert, but last year they were equally superb. I've been coming to Diamante for 17 years, and for me, it's the best restaurant in town and the surrounding area.

27/09/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at Cannarutia, and the experience exceeded my expectations! I've rarely found such high-quality cuisine and service that makes you feel truly at home. Its immediately striking strength is the incredibly kind staff. From the moment we arrived, they were smiling, attentive, and ready to accommodate our every request with admirable availability. Their thoughtfulness made the entire evening relaxing and enjoyable. But what makes this restaurant a true gem is its inclusive cuisine, especially for those with specific dietary needs. Since my wife is gluten-intolerant, finding VALUABLE and non-trivial options is often a challenge, but here the gluten-free selection is vast, creative, and top-notch. I was able to choose from appetizers, first courses, pizza, and desserts without having to sacrifice flavor or fear cross-contamination. This level of attention and care for intolerant diners deserves special praise: the ability to enjoy a complete and delicious dinner in complete safety is a huge added value. The dishes were exquisite, prepared with fresh ingredients and carefully presented. From the first course to the last, you could feel Chef Ernesto's passion and mastery. La Cannarutia is a must-visit. If you're looking for a place where hospitality is genuine and the food quality is excellent, with attention to everyone's needs (especially the gluten-free options), you won't be disappointed! Highly recommended!
30/08/2025: A recent discovery for me, but a pleasant surprise. My wife also enjoyed it, and in many ways it's a place we go to eat often, not just for special occasions... well done for the menu and the availability.
