Strolling along the seafront, we chose based on reviews and, indeed, found a place that was genuine in both form and substance. Excellent quality ingredients, often home-grown, expertly cooked. The tuna tartare is sublime, the fried seafood is exceptional, as are the swordfish rolls. The use of superlatives may seem excessive, but it's the only way to convey the supreme quality, which extends to the desserts as well. The Sicilian cannoli are... fabulous. Our heartfelt congratulations. We'll definitely be back!

It's a gem on the Diamante seafront. 100% local cuisine with a signature touch. Alfonso welcomes us with kindness and courtesy. The shrimp carpaccio with mango is a delight. The marinated tuna is excellent. Not to be missed. Eli and Lluís, Barcelona.

The food is excellent, with a refined menu featuring a small number of excellently prepared dishes. The ingredients used are locally sourced. The service was also excellent. We had a great time and will return as soon as possible.

The restaurant is located on the seafront, a little away from the “movida” street. Quiet and welcoming area with a somewhat anonymous sign. Well-kept place, excellent service but the real jewel in the crown is the menu prepared by the chef who selects all the ingredients and the catch of the day to offer dishes that are different every day, carefully balanced in the pairing of flavors in which you can find all the love and passion put into trying to do your job at your best. Really good. Prices not exactly popular but in line with the offer. We will gladly return.

Chosen by chance upon our arrival in Diamante, we were welcomed by the owner, very friendly and knowledgeable about the beauties of the area (he told us many things to visit), who kept us company while we waited for the dishes... The wait was a bit long, but believe me, it was absolutely worth it, 2 really delicious first courses and a spectacular ancient dish, which contains the flavors of Calabria (anchovies, crusco pepper, mint, eggs) then a panna cotta with fresh milk and exquisite strawberries.... Highly recommended....... Slow cuisine with top quality ingredients....

A real gem in the heart of Diamante. Highly recommended place that stands out from the mass of tourist places in the area. We were in this restaurant two days ago: a spectacular and carefully selected fish (fresh and local, not the usual swordfish), all prepared with extreme care, taste and elegance. Strozzapreti allo scoglio truly unmissable. Note that much of the fruit and vegetables used in the preparations are grown by them (which I appreciated). The selection of local wines is also truly excellent. The only regret is that we were too full for dessert, but it is a great excuse to return to be enchanted by the stories and cuisine of Mr. Alfonso.

I discovered the Maramia restaurant by chance while walking around Diamante. Here I met Alfonso, an exquisite person who won us over with pleasant conversations. But the chatter wasn't the only pleasant thing, the food was really delicious. The products were excellent and of quality. I tasted 2 delicious seafood first courses and a very fresh grilled fish. They offer quality products and know how to prepare them. Not to mention the homemade liqueurs. I will definitely return.
