Shortly before 7 p.m. we were almost the first guests. Water and wine came quickly, Ministrone and Caprese were extremely tasty, pasta and bistecca were perfect. The atmosphere is quaint and authentic, much better than the tourist traps where we previously ate poorly and expensively.
If we are in Sanremo again, we would be happy to do so again.

We spent two days in San Remo and we had our best meal at Ristorante Maona. They make their desserts from scratch and they’re absolutely delicious so don’t miss it! It’s a family run place and the service was excellent. The food was delicious. Would definitely go back next time I’m in San Remo.

Don't let yourself be influenced by the gruff attitude of the owner and the waiter. Here, I ate one of the best spaghetti with clams of my life. I am a cook and I have prepared and eaten plenty of this dish. If skill can be seen in simplicity, I recommend this place in Sanremo to everyone. The price is right for the location it is in.

Excelente comida, menú básico pero hecho muy bien. No hay servicio de lujos de este restaurante de gestión familiar. Desde el exterior no se ve tan impresionante, sin embargo, no se deje engañar, este lugar sirve seriamente buena comida. Tuvimos entrantes, pasta y postre todo casero y todo muy sabroso. Nos gustaría 100% volver de nuevo.

We arrived around 9:30 p.m. and the waiter tried to dismiss us, claiming that there were no more seats. Then an older man appeared and told him to clean up, which he finally did. He gathered everything and set the table again. The waiters' service was terrible, as if they were there as a punishment. The older gentleman, as it turned out, the owner, has more energy than the young ones. Without knowing the language, he recommended delicious food to us and the atmosphere immediately improved. You could feel real Italian hospitality. Thank you very much.

We ate the pizza which was very good, but there are few flavours, it is outdoors and is located on a very busy road.
